Mahala is made up of 2 completely separate studios and can be let for one couple or 2 - both with your own private everything! Mahala 2 is upstairs.
Light the fire, open your complimentary bottle of wine while the double spa bath is filling, dock your Ipod, dim the lights and just relax. Or, turn on the LCD TV with inbuilt DVD which you can watch from the couch, the comfiest bed or the 2 person spa bath!
Open the double glass doors out on to the grapevine covered patio and enjoy the sunset or the peace of the country in the morning. Or fire up the gas Weber BBQ and cook up a feast using produce from our local providores, farmers markets and specialty shops. We're very proud to say our region is a foodies paradise!
Turn left out of the driveway, walk down the hill and there you are at Lake Daylesford in less than 5 minutes! Or, turn right out of the driveway, walk up the road to Daylesford Town Centre, where a myriad of cuisines are available with excellent local produce and great local galleries and specialty shops await you.
We are "Small Pet Friendly"
Your small pet is most welcome, however, we request you bring your own pet bedding and towels and not allow your pet to sit on any furniture. A $50 pet fee applies. Please note Mahala is unfenced.

"My husband and I and our dog stayed in the delightful studio cottage during a real cold snap. The heating and hot water were fantastic! The cottage is very comfortable and tastefully furnished with a good range of reading matter and DVDs to watch while snuggled up in bed. There are also the thoughtful touches of complimentary toiletries, breakfast provisions etc. The countryside is lovely and perfect for long doggie walks. It's wonderfully quiet for lazy sleep-ins. I heartily recommend the cottage for a couple's weekend away. We hope to return in summer to experience the countryside abloom with wildflowers! Thanks again for a lovely stay! "
