Perfectly situated with world class surfing beaches less than 10 minutes drive in one direction and World Heritage listed subtropical rainforests in the other, Green Pavilion is located within an international award winning sustainable community in the beautiful Currumbin Valley.
An hours drive south of Brisbane, less than 10 minutes off the Pacific Highway and a 15 minute drive from the Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta Green Pavilion is convenient and easy to get to. But with kangaroos grazing freely outside your door and kookaburras (and 160 other types of birds) to keep you company it feels a world away.
The tariff includes a selection of teas, coffee, milk for your first few drinks and a couple of kitchen basics. You are free to help yourself to herbs from our organic garden and the chickens may even lay you an egg or two!
Spacious, comfortable accommodation for 2 or 3
Green Pavilion shares a driveway and garden with the main house but is a brand new separate self contained unit accommodating 2 in comfort.
The open plan living room opens onto a large deck (with BBQ) overlooking the valley and organic garden. Comfortable furnishings include sofa, dining table and chairs, and kitchenette with fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and hot plate. Separated by sliding doors the bedroom contains a queen size bed and has an ensuite bathroom (shower).
Although ideal for 1 or 2 there is a double sofa bed in the living area for additional guest/s (with bedding) or portacot (bring own bedding) if required. For our youngest guests we now also have a Stokke high chair and the big deck has a child gate allowing more space to roam and play. There is also a small selection of toys, books and dvds.
There is use of a washing machine and outside drying area.
The pavilion is built to make the most of the climate facing NE it has louver windows and fans to catch the breeze. Other sustainable credentials include rainwater tanks, solar hot water and electricity, non toxic finishes and only environmentally friendly cleaning products are used.
Relax and unwind or make the most of the areas activities and natural attractions
Relax in the hammock on your deck listening to birdsong, explore the village and surrounding bush on foot or by bike, paddle in the creek a short stroll away or make use of the village's lovely leisure facilities (pool, gym and children's play area). The local Cafe is open 5 days a week for coffee or a delicious light lunch.
A little further afield you can surf (or learn to) or swim at Currumbin beach, paddle board or kayak on the creek, swim in the local rock pools, visit Fleays Sanctuary or Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and tackle their 'Green Challenge', fish in the ocean or creek, play golf from a choice of courses, bird watch, take rainforest walks or follow the board walk along Currumbin Creek.
Other Gold Coast attractions such as Movie World, Sea World, Wet n' Wild, Dream World, Surfers Paradise and Q1 are approximately 30 minutes drive.
Whether you're after a beautiful spot to stopover en route, somewhere to get away from it all or a convenient base for a longer stay - Green Pavilion offers a perfect combination of comfort, convenience and relaxation.

Prices
We aim to provide great quality accommodation at a fair and affordable price regardless of the time of year, hence a year round tariff which only varies depending on how many nights are booked. Daily tariff for 1 or 2 nights is $145, 3 to 6 nights is $125 with a flat rate of $50 for an extra person.
