This magnificent home is a self contained 4 bedroom fully functional and equipped heritage cottage with wrap around verandahs and a welcoming open fireplace. The house is set on 30 acres in the beautiful countryside near the village of Dunoon, the macadamia capital of Australia. With its generous front and back verandahs, Cedarville would make an ideal artists retreat for a group who would'nt have to go far to find enchanting subjects. Cedarville is 10 minutes to Rocky Creek Dam, Minyon Falls and the rainforests of the far north coast of New South Wales, a bird watching and bushwalkers paradise. All of this and still only 30 minutes to the magic of Byron Bay, where you can spend the day soaking up the atmosphere, shopping or eating at one of the many fine restaurants and cafes it has to offer or visit our areas unique markets for great local produce and gifts while being entertained by the varied performers. The nearest main town is Lismore.

Sweet Dunoon where Cedarville doth lie. What a glorious place as the time floateth by with my delightful chums all sitting on bums eating and drinking, sleeping and laughing.
Sweet Dunoon we bid Cedarville farewell. But will be back as time is sure to tell.

A wonderful two days of R & R. Unbeatanle scenery and we enjoyed drinking in the old world charms and ambience of another time. Thank you for keeping this wonderful heritage alive. Hope to be back again, maybe in spring to see the changing colours of the garden.

Fabulous place, we enjoyed every moment. We watched the days go by and we entertained friends and looked at the moon while making up stories about what was going on in this amazing house many years ago. We will definately be back for more quality time.

as soon as we arrived at cedarville we new it was something special. it was a family get together so there were 3 family groups we all felt very comfotable there and there was so much room for everyone. the house is perfect for large groups, we had a big breakfast which was cooked with ease given the well equipped kitchen. the kids loved the massive garden my daughter was like a fairy in a fairy garden and my boy just ran and ran and our smallest "the dog" was very happy to be included.when we drove away we were already missing it.

THE MOST PEACEFUL, ELEGANT BUT SIMPLISTIC COTTAGE. BIRDS, GARDENS AND VIEWS JUST MAKE FOR THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SETTING FOR A RELAXING HOLIDAY. THE HOSPITALITY BY THE OWNERS IS JUST WONDERFUL AND SO FRIENDLY AND HOMELY. GREAT PLACE, WE HAVE BEEN MORE THAN ONCE AND GOING MORE TIMES IN FUTURE. OUR DOG LOVED THE EXPERIENCE OF A LARGE AREA TO PLAY IN ALSO.

A fantastic stay at a truely historic farm. The setting is ideally suited to anyone who likes the warmth and charm of an older syle home and the opportunity for peace, quiet and privacy of country life for a well earned break. Ideally located to Dunoon and National Parks as well as Lismore. Our family (including the family dog) really enjoyed our week at Cedarville and we are already planning our return trip next year
