Werona Beach Cottage is at Pt Lonsdale - a charming seaside town at the head of Port Phillip Bay on the Bellarine Peninsula. The cottage is extremely well positioned in the heart of the town, across the road from the beautiful front beach. Bay and ocean beaches, golf, tennis, lawn bowls and fishing are all close by. Stroll to the Front Beach, Jetty Beach and the Rip View Lookout. For more breathtaking views, take a short walk to the historic Pt Lonsdale Lighthouse and while you're there walk out on the reefs and jetty or head for the surf!

Werona Beach Cottage is a one bedroom, fully self-contained cottage with a contemporary kitchen and bathroom. So cook if you wish, or visit the cafes, bakeries and restaurants just around the corner.

The cottage opens to a large room comprising the kitchen (includes fridge, stove top, oven and microwave), dining area (table and two chairs) and lounge (sofa-bed, TV, heater and fan). The bedroom comfortably sleeps 2 adults in a queen-bed. Doona, blankets and pillows provided - bring own linen and towels. The spacious bathroom contains a shower (over a square bath-recess), toilet and deep handbasin.

Shared laundry facilities are easily accessible at the main house 'Werona' (a Victorian heritage house attached to the cottage by an undercover breeze-way). A large lawn, picnic table, clothes line and gas BBQ (in the courtyard) are available for guests' use.

Werona Beach Cottage is available for holiday rental to individuals and couples. Arrivals are usually 2pm, departures 10am.

Attractions

In addition to the beautiful beaches, Pt Lonsdale boasts a lawn bowling club, a tennis club, a golf course, and a fabulous boutique shopping strip (with fine dining, fabulous eateries and quality gift shops).

Nearby Queenscliff offers tours of the historic town and fort, a marine education centre, a boat jetty, swim-with-the seals tours, fishing, diving, steam railway tours, a great selection of cafes and restaurants, wineries, antiques and local shopping.

For a day out, drive to Ocean Grove or Barwon Heads (home to the TV series 'Seachange'), or take a ferry trip across the bay to Sorrento and Portsea. Children and adults will also enjoy the nearby mini golf, mazes and Adventure Park. For a longer trip, tour the Great Ocean Road!
