Description

Centrally located on Jurien's main street, you can literally park the car and walk or cycle everywhere during your stay. The supermarket is across the road, with the Post Office, newsagent, cafe, restaurant, ATM and liquor store in the same complex. A stroll down the footpath in the other direction gets you to another shopping centre where you find the bakery, butcher's shop, fishing tackle shop, fish and chip shop, chemist, pizza shop and video store.
You'll find plenty of tourist advice in the town. Top spots include the Pinnacles (30 mins), Stockyard Gully caves (40 mins) and Sandy Cape (20 mins). If you have a boat visit the islands or you can take a charter boat trip. With a 4WD you can explore the beach and the bush.

Head for the beach!

Get physical!
A short walk past the caravan park to the beach and jetty. The sealed walk path to the north leads through the foreshore park and on to the marina. Or head south towards Island Point with views across the bay to the islands. Take the dog with you on a lead until you reach the dog beaches.
Go fishing!
Plenty of room for the boat, launch with ease at the marina. Or try your luck off the jetty, groynes or beach. Clean your catch out the back with a cool drink at hand.
Relax!
BBQ on the back patio, put your feet up in front of the TV, lose yourself in a good book, enjoy the peace and quiet.

Guest Reviews

  • "it's a really good little house with a great backyard for kids to run around and play in."
    Erica, May 2008

  • "We had an excellent time at 61 Bashford Street, my husband enjoyed fishing from the harbour wall and jetty, whilst our dog and I walked and relaxed on the beach. We even left her a couple of times in the garden which was well fenced, she had a ball. The house is close to everything you need: the supermarket, all the take away restaurants, bottle shop, both pubs what more could you want!! Plus the house is well equipped so should you want to eat at home you can. Thanks Alan & Sue, we will be back."
    Rhonda, March 2008

  • "Brilliant property & ideally located. We had a great stay and will stay here on our next visit. A word of advice - most shops (including IGA), restaurants and petrol stations are closed on Christmas day at Jurien Bay. "

  • "Had a great time with the boys on a fishing trip to Jurien, house had everything we needed, close to pub and shops and jetty etc.Boat ramp is not far away as well, even though our fishing brag books were not filled we still had fun. David White from Royal Perth Fishing Club."

  • "Twice now we have used the house on our Annual fishing trip and it has absolutely everything for the four of us blokes . 100 metres to the local pub and IGA supermarket and being located right on the main street is walking distance to everything else . The house itself is great with room for our large boats and fishing gear and having big grassed areas to wash everything down after the days fishing with the bonus of seperate rooms for the snorers !! Highly recommended and we will be back again and again Shane Malycha"
