This cosy 1950's farm cottage has been used as shearers quarters for many years and still retains the original characteristics.
It has been refurbished for guests, whilst retaining the 1950's look and feel - take a look through the photos and see for yourself!
In summer you can sit out the front and soak up the view, looking up Lake Tekapo to the Godley valley.
In winter, crank up the fire to be warm and cosy in no time.
The cooking facilities are basic but adequate with a small fridge and oven. If you choose not to cook, then Tekapo, with its many restaurants, is just 7km along the road.
The shower and loo are in a separate building 'the outhouse' so make sure you bring your head lamps.
Staying in this delightful cottage is a wonderful experience and a true holiday.
