FEEDBACK

Many thanks, we enjoyed our time at Mystery bay and found the cottage very comfortable and well equipped. We will hope to stay again some time. Regards Simon

Had a great time relaxing in and around your pretty little cottage. Went to the beach most days... and generally had good uninterrupted family fun. Thanks again for a memorable holiday and we'll certainly stay longer next time. Regards Gay

We really loved the cottage - I've never stayed anywhere so well equipped!!! It was extraordinary. Absolutely gorgeous spot... We are looking forward to many return visits! Thanks a lot, Angie

The Cottage

The main bedroom is extra large with ocean views, two recliners and a coffee table. The second bedroom is furnished in a retro style and the third can cater for children and has a toy box.

The open plan living spaces comprise:
a cosy lounge area with TV, DVD player and DVD's for your enjoyment opening onto the front verandah via French doors;
a dining area with a stereo and bookshelf to keep you entertained, opening onto the central deck via French doors; and
a split level galley kitchen with all the mod cons including a dishwasher, microwave, rice cooker, coffee percolator and dried herbs (fresh herbs are available in the back cottage garden).

The fully-tiled bathroom has a toilet, vanity, claw-foot bath with shower, and a heated towel rack. There is a spare shower in the garage for those post swim rinses and a rustic outdoor dunny for emergency use.

The garage has:
a small laundry with a washing machine and dryer;
a shower for a quick rinse off; and
a table-tennis table which can be collapsed if you wish to use the space for other activities.

The front deck is partly under cover so you may unwind in the shade or choose to take in the ocean views from the breakfast table. The central deck has a sail to shade the outdoor table and chairs and an outside power point for the electric barbeque. From there the stairs lead up to the very large and panoramic top deck where you may choose to eat your meals or to grab a banana lounge from the garage to make the most of the sunny aspect.

SORRY, NO PETS as it is too close to the National Park.

Weekly Bookings preferred during school holidays (from Friday or Saturday).

Mystery Bay

Walks and adventures are to be had along the pristine coastline, cliff faces and forests in the adjoining Eurobodalla National Park, or further afield. Shops are in nearby Narooma or Tilba.

Tours to Montague Island and hire-boats for Wagonga Inlet can be found in Narooma.

  • "Escaping to Didi's Cottage was like spending a week at a favourite relative's home. The cottage has everything a family could need and more. We all enjoyed the books, toys, games, cds and table tennis. The hot shower in the garage is perfect when you have 3 sandy kids. We lay on the banana lounges every night and said good night to the stars, but we didnt get to see the bandicoot! The snorkling down at the beach was fab and we loved the dramatic coastline. We shall definitely return. Karen."
