Located amidst Canberra's wineries and gourmet eateries. The lakeside en suite rooms overlook a thriving wetland habitat and are heated / airconditioned, and contain a hair dryer, bar fridge with complimentary drinks, toiletries, double showers, tea /coffee making facilities and robes for the jacuzzi which overlooks the lake. Our self contained garden Guesthouse offers 3 bedrooms, bathroom, large lounge area with firepace and kitchenette.

Productive Garden

Much of the garden has been utilised for organic food production including in season vegetables and fruit, berries such as gooseberries, black and red currants, blueberries, elderberries, strawberries and raspberries, more unusual fruit such as feijoas and a healthy free range hen unit. This provides for tasty fully cooked farm breakfasts for healthy apetites and a range of preserves such as jams, chutneys and relishes are for sale.
The garden also provides olives, almonds, quince, chestnuts, walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts and figs in limited supply until the garden matures.Flowers such as daffodils, dahlias and roses are picked from the garden for the rooms and the breakfast/recreation area and spectacular autumn hues are evident from March until May.

Pet friendly

With many farm animals such as horses, alpacas, chickens,
pheasants, dogs and numerous species of native wildlife, Redbrow Garden B&B and Guesthouse is pet friendly providing separate indoor kennels, stables and paddocks. Pets need to be well trained and not interfere with hosts, guests, local fauna and flora and of course all our farm animals.

Guest Reviews

  • "Redbrow Garden Guesthouse was perfect for our circumstances. We have a young baby and a dog that has to be wherever we are and the guesthouse was able to cater for both. Top marks to Redbrow for the accommodation and friendly service. "
