Storm Bay is one of Tasmania’s most beautiful Guest Houses. Set on six acres overlooking stunning White Beach on the Tasman Peninsula, the main Guest House has five ensuite queen bedrooms.

The Beach Cottage, an absolute beachfront luxury self-contained two-bedroom cottage, is situated right on White Beach. Thirty paces to the sparkling white sand and sea.

Cragganmore Cottage is a private self-contained luxury two-bedroom cottage that sits within the grounds of Storm Bay.

Beautiful White Beach is only a few minutes walk away from the property, which is bordered by fifty thousand acres of national forest and sits high on Hardy’s Hill overlooking Storm Bay to the west and Parson’s Bay to the north. The views stretch as far as the eye can see to the Hartz Mountains and the distant southwest wilderness area and are often described as the most breathtaking views in Southern Tasmania. Serenity, a change of lifestyle, a place to relax and unwind, to enjoy the famous Tasmanian food and wine, to get in touch with Mother Nature, all of this and more at Storm Bay.

The Guest House

Prices for our ensuite rooms range from $130-$190 per room including cooked breakfast. The views from the Guest House have been described as the best on the Tasman Peninsula. Set high on Hardy’s Hill on the edge of the national forest, you can see right across Storm Bay to Bruny Island and the south west wilderness area. Enjoy breakfast and dinner with a view, a glass of wine on the deck while the sun goes down, a cosy evening by the fire in winter, a memorable stay. The expansive dining room/lounge looks out over an 80m2 deck.

Breakfast is a sumptuous Tasmanian feast cooked to order with homemade bread and jams and local free range eggs, freshly ground coffee and a variety of teas. The rooms are simple and modern in style and the décor is an eclectic mixture of antiques, paintings and wall hangings from our travels.

The Bay View Room is a large queen ensuite with a double spa.

The Acacia Room is our largest Queen ensuite which has a large deck facing both Storm Bay and Parsons Bay.

The Blue Room is a queen ensuite and enjoys spectacular views across Parson’s Bay from its private deck and has a futon bed which can sleep an extra adult.

The Red Room is a queen ensuite.

The Pink Room is a double with its own private bathroom.

Children over 12 welcome in the Guest House.

The Cottages

The beautiful Beach Cottage is situated right on White Beach, the only absolute beachfront accommodation on the Tasman Peninsula. Only thirty paces to the sparkling white sand and sea. Two bedrooms, a full kitchen, deck, barbecue and privacy. Take a stroll on one of Tasmania's most beautiful beaches. Relax and experience life on the beach. Watch dolphins and if you're lucky, a whale. Enjoy the sunset as it slips behind the western wilderness, and Bruny Island across Storm Bay. Indoors, relax in your robe and slippers and enjoy a DVD, or use the docking station to listen to your own favourites from your iPod. $250 for 2 adults, extra adults $20 each, sleeps 4.

Children over 12 welcome in the Beach Cottage.

Cragganmore Cottage is a large (60 sq/m) two-bedroom luxury cottage set on its own half an acre close to the main guest house. It has one queen bedroom and one with two single bedsand can accommodate up to six guests. The full kitchen is equipped with everything you could need to prepare a gourmet meal in style. On the deck overlooking Parson’s Bay there is a barbecue. With a cosy wood fire for those chilly evenings you can enjoy a dvd or use the ipod docking station to listen to your favourite music. $220 for 2 adults with extra charges of $20 per adult/child. (Maximum 6 people)

Children over five years old are welcome in Cragganmore Cottage.
