"Lavender Hill Retreat" is a large cottage situated on 20 attractive acres, and nestled at the foot of the Wombat Forest, just 10 mins (approx.) from Daylesford. As you enter you will know that something special awaits as you drive down the long lavender-lined driveway to the secluded, hideaway cottage set well back from the road.

Long sweeping 270 degree rural and Wombat Forest views from the wide wrap-around verandah and lovely private rose & lavender gardens at both the front and rear of the cottage.

Lavender Hill Retreat is perfect for a Girl’s Getaway & larger group bookings (can sleep up to 15), as well as being ideal family holiday accommodation or a romantic hideaway for couples.

Take your morning cuppa on the rear sun-filled verandah with forest views, kookaburras and other abundant bird life. Look out for wedge-tailed eagles soaring above the forest, Lavender Hill’s resident family of ducks, and for kangaroos making their way along the edge of the forest or playing in the lower paddocks.

After a great day exploring Daylesford and the surrounding area (if you can drag yourself out of the Jacuzzi!) have a glass of wine on the front verandah that gets the afternoon sun & evening sunset.

The property boasts ancient trees and pond, winter creek, thousands of daffodils and bulbs, choice of al fresco dining & relaxation areas.

TV/DVD, CD/Stereo, Al fresco dining, Electric Blankets, hair dryer, washing machine, ironing board/iron & even a Video Player in Bunk Room for family stays!
