Santosha at LittleBeach is a sustainable, practical, low impact home, built into a spectacular ten acre parcel of terrain on Tasmania's Sunny East Coast.
The property sleeps up to (11) adults in the main house for the advertised price with the space for an additional (6) guests at an additional cost of $100.00 per night per room, linen and towels included.
The warm and elegant, low profile house is an adaptive and unique combination of contemporary design constructed from Rammed Earth and recycled Tasmanian Eucalyptus bridge timbers. It implements low angled, water catching roof lines and doubled glazed windows, which compliment the spectacular nature from outside in!
The Main House sleeps up to (11) configured as couple or singles in splittable King Beds, and additional (2) loft rooms in the adjacent Shala, can sleep up to (6) additional guests in a combination of (Room 1) Queen Poster Bed under a loft King Mattress and (Room 2) 2 Queen futons on a double bunk structure. Additional coordination can be made for infants and small children.
Total adults up to (17).
Santosha is geographically equidistant from the convenient and picturesque coastal hamlets of Scamander to the North and Bicheno to the South.
The Main House incorporates open plan living/dining areas, with state of the art kitchen appliances, rammed earth and bridge timber walls, an efficient wood fired hydronic system and magnificent ocean views from all rooms.
Multiple sun baked decks and landscaped gardens surround the house so you can relax and entertain in all conditions day or night! The views combine the best of the wild and beautiful Tasman Sea to the East, Rocky Ribbed headlands to the North and South and the Elephant Mountain and associated native bushland to the West.
The list of native species seen, often daily, include Echidna's, Wallabies, Wedge Tail Eagles, Sea Eagles, Whales to include Orcas(seasonal) and many others.
A washer/dryer combination is in the main house for all laundry needs. An additional washer is located in the amenities block if a larger party is planned.
There aren't many places in the world where you can surf quality point and beach breaks in pure, clean ocean on your own!! Enjoy beach fires at night on the secluded LittleBeach. Numerous prime surf spots are located North and South of LittleBeach.
Santosha can be coordinated with local caterers and marriage celebrants to make wedding planning simple.
For holiday goers with allergies, we have ensured comfortable mattresses, organic linens,mattress protectors and hard wood floors which greatly reduce allergy concerns.
Personal cell connectivity is the only means of phone connection. Free wireless internet is offered on which skype can be used. Digital Television is provided on flat screen TV.
Santosha will provide a comfortable and relaxing escape for you, your family and friends!
Santosha includes the gorgeous Yoga Shala - " Ganesh" - which faces the mountains to the West to include "The Elephant"! The yoga space is light filled with incredible views of the mountains, has wooden floors, music, and rammed earth walls which allow warmth in the winter and comfort in the summer. Places of stillness for meditation, and unlimited walks available.
The owner of Santosha runs Yoga Retreats and Yoga Teacher Trainings all over the world, so the extras that are provided with this quality space make it easy to run any type of retreat you desire!
Santosha Little Beach will provide you and your loved one and family with an unforgettable wedding experience.
Various options are available from the sandy beach to decks with ocean views are available.
Santosha has been designed to support space for up to 100 events guests in a beautiful setting.
Local options for catering and ceremony procedures are available and can be forwarded to you by the owners of Santosha - Greg and Sunny.
