fabulous location - beautiful views - so relaxing sitting next to the fire and looking out at the ocean, just bliss. The owners have thought of
everything, all the little touches were
greatly appreciated and we even got little doggie treats left for Sam & Bella. Our dogs loved roaming around the garden and meeting the neighbours on thier daily walks. we will all be back soon. The only thing we can think of that could be added is a doggie door but was not an issue at all. just loved it, thanks for your hospitality Rob & Julie......from Clayton, Leanne, Bennett, Sam and Bella Reeves.

Wonderful house with all the mod cons and then some. We loved spending the days in McLaren Vale enjoying all of the local cellar doors then returning to the house to enjoy a nice dinner on the balcony. Having the opportunity the bring the dog sealed the deal.

I have been staying at this lovely house and beautiful Maslin Beach for many years now with my family and have introduced my friends along the way. They all love it now too! What has become my favourite place in the whole world is now being shared with others. The owners Julie and Rob are great and always very welcoming. Have travelled the world and am still yet to find anywhere as unspoilt and beautiful as Maslins. Never mind the nude people, had a little swim myself one morning while noboday was looking!

Superb location(the view is magic) and very well appointed(we didn't want for anything) and it caters for 6 very comfortably. Julie and Rob were friendly and eager to please. We really appreciated being able to bring the cat and the dog. We've booked again for next year!

Return visit in Summer this time to enjoy the beach and BBQ's on the balcony overlooking the sea. Fantastic location only one minute walk to a beautifully clean, quiet beach. Don't need to bring a thing as everything is thought of by the owner. Will be back again.

Wonderfully clean, cozy home away from home - better than home.
Very comfortable and warm lazing on lounges around the pot belly stove watching football on the plasma screen. Breakfast on the balcony with views of the sea and only 2 minute walk to quiet beach. Cosmo (german shepherd) had a fun time on the off leach beach (outside daylight saving months) and property is fully fenced and safe for pets.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ambalama. It was impressively clean and comfortable. The view was just fantastic. It was much closer to the sea than I expected. It was a great place to get away and relax with an easy walk to the beach and within easy driving distance to the best restaurants in SA. Thank you for sharing some of your magic with us. Had a really wonderful time in Mclaren Vale. Ambalama was a truly enjoyable experience for us. We had everything we needed and more. The view was to die for and we spent countless hours unwinding in the cosy living area. The proximity to the beach was a definite plus and we reckon anyone will feel younger after staying here. We had a fantastic time in McLaren Vale, and Ambalama was the perfect place to stay. We filled up our basket at the farmer's market, bought some local wine and lazed away the evening on the varandah overlooking the water... just perfect. The house was great too, and we loved the boogy boards... perfect for a stroll down to the beach.. the kids loved it too. We'd love to come again, it was the best.

Our stay at Ambalama was fantastic. The actual beach house is great for a small group of friends to stay with the best of both worlds - you have the wineries of McLaren Vale on one side and the beach on the other. What more could you want?

What an absolutely beautiful place! Ocean views, beautiful sunsets, long beach walks, wine tasting and great food.
All that and a clean home that had everything we could possibly need. Best of all it is 'Dog Friendly' so our two Golden Retrievers got to enjoy the enitire experience with us.

What a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful, relaxed house with all the mod cons and everything you need - including a BBQ to enjoy on the balcony. Amazing ocean views, a quite beach jsut a wander down the road (whcih you can have your dog on anytime of the day), and so many beautiful winiers a 5 minute drive away. We loved Ambalama and can't wait to go back!
