Explore the surrounding bush trails, fish, take a boating adventure to Spencer and visit the only liquor licenced tree in Australia or boat to one of the many river beaches.

Alternatively you can simply chill, read, listen to music or play the provided board games and video library.

Serendipity has two bedrooms (one master) consisting of two double beds and several single beds. It is ideal for couples, families or good friends.

Getting there!

Serendipity is water access only, which means that you either need to hire a boat from one of the many nearby marina's, BYO boat, get a water taxi or the once a day ferry.

Kangaroo Point is a very popular stepping off area to the Hawkesbury River as is Brooklyn.

Both are accessed via the F3 & the Pacific Highway(approximately 20 mins north from Sydney on the freeway).

There is a boat ramp at Kangaroo pt with ample safe parking for both your car and boat trailer. Alternatively you can try Dolphin Marina PH:

Using your own boat (MAX 20ft) or water taxi, Serendipity is just 12 minutes way from Kangaroo Point.

Hire a runabout:
Self drive runabout is available, book with Hawkesbury River Cruises, talk with Justin or Ben, ph 02 ; They will organise for you to be picked up and dropped off by water taxi and for your runabout to be ready on your arrival.

We recommend that you use “Green Bags” instead of plastic bags to pack your food and equipment in.

TOWELS (bath and beach)
Linen (unless request for it to be supplied).
Food & Beverages (remember it is better to over cater than to under cater)
Toiletries (toilet paper supplied)
Comfortable indoor footwear
Favourite CD's & DVD's/Videos
Fishing equipment and bait for those keen to fish
Beach towel & sunscreen
Coffee for the coffee machine

Unfortunately we can no longer absorb the cost of linen into the hire price.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Normal check-out time is 12pm, however we can often accomodate a flexible check in & check out time for you, if required and depending on when the next booking is. Please notify us if this is required.

PRICES & RENTAL CONDITIONS

EXCESSIVE MESS - It is a requirement of rental that the house is left relatively clean and tidy. Rubbish and bottles should be placed neatly in the bins. Please take as much rubish with you as you can carry. Plates, cutlery and glasses should be cleaned and put away. BBQ cleaned after use. An Excess cleaning fee may be charged if the house is left in a messy state.

DAMAGE AND BREAKAGES -Any damage to the property or any breakages will be billed to you. Normal wear and tear is acceptable. Please let us know if anything has been damaged or broken so that it can be repalced.

CIGGARETTES -PLEASE DO NOT SMOKE IN THE HOUSE, only smoke outside, and please dispose of your cigarette buts thoughtfully. That is into ashtrays, and then into the bin, not into pot plants or the surrounding bush land and please ensure that the cigarette is out prior to disposal.

PETS -Serendipity is pet friendly, particularly for dogs. We do ask that you keep your pets out of the bedrooms and off the furniture. Also, it is important that they are locked in of a night time to protect the native wild life. Please clean up after your pet. You will be charged for any damage or mess your pet makes. We strongly recommend you take tick precautions, especially in summer.

We need this information to work out sleeping configurations and provide you with a more accurate quote.

SERENDIPITY DOES NOT CATER FOR LARGE GROUPS OF SINGLES AND GENERALLY 6 GUESTS IS THE MAXIMUM.


MAXIMUM BOAT SIZE ALLOWED ON JETTY IS 20FT (6 meters).
