Needs Improvement

The property is approx 3km away from the location shown on the VRBO map, so this needs altering. Initial communication was ok, however we were met at the property by a not so good English speaking lady who very briefly showed us around. No instructions whatsoever for Wifi, appliances, etc, tried calling number that was left, turned out this person was away, luckily had number for the owner who also spoke little English so literally had to fend for ourselves. The fridge was on its warmest setting so all our fresh food took overnight to cool down, spoke to the owner about the fridge she wasn’t concerned in the slightest. No soap supplied to bathrooms, no dinner plates only side plates, 3 kitchen knives all blunt, broken scissors, only 3 outside chairs usable as 3 broken on legs, no where to dispose of rubbish bags as instructions not left, very small bath towels (good for kids) bath plug didn’t work on lever had to use a knife, shower head blocked with lime scale (we had to clean) no logs left for wood burner, the sealing rope is broken also. Could be a 5 star property as location is great, but most definitely an information pack is needed written in English along with things mentioned above dealt with asap.

Pour aller au plus simple : Tout est conforme à l'annonce. La maison est propre, en excellent état de restauration, très bien équipée, tant en vaisselle qu'en éléctro-ménager. Le linge de maison est fourni ce qui nous évite d'y penser au départ. bonne literie.Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et très disponibles. Je recommande ! Dans le détail : situation au vert et au calme dans la campagne lotoise, proche Dordogne. Comptez un peu de route (25 minutes) pour les premiers points touristiques remarquables. Possibilités de jolies randonnée au départ des Arques. Point de baignade au lac de Catus à 10km ( accès gratuit et fort bien aménagé -baignade surveillée pour les enfants + aménagements gonflables pour les plus grands) Aux Arques arrêtez-vous à la table "la Récréation", ce gastronomique vaut le détour !

Maison tres agreable pour un sejour nature et au calme a mi chemin entre vallee du Lot et vallee de la Dordogne. Petit village a proximite avec quelques belles surprises (musee zadkine, restaurant la recreation) . Prevoir de faire qq km pour rejoindre des lieux de baignade et de fraicheur ( le cele ou la dordogne) .

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans cette location tout confort. Maison un peu éloignée de tout mais idéale pour se reposer et se ressourcer. Manque que la piscine pour que le séjour soit réussi (piscine privée non accessible) Je recommande a 100%, propriétaires très à l’écoute et avenants. Toujours disponible si problème. On reviendra !
