The Oak Beach Boathouse is a very spacious and beautiful 4 bedroom absolute ocean front property situated at Oak Beach near Port Douglas. The beach and ocean are literally your backyard. There are no roads to cross to the beach! You have arrived in paradise!!
The ideal location to take a break from the world, and with it's private beach access it's sure to be the place to create memories to last a lifetime.
The house was designed and furnished for comfortable holiday living, spacious enough for the largest family, and yet intimate enough for a honeymoon couple or a close knit group of friends holidaying together.
Stunning panoramic views of the ocean from floor to ceiling windows make it seem like the surroundings are a natural part of the decor. There are great indoor & outdoor entertaining areas in traditional Far North Queensland style.
Entertain your family and friends around your large infinity wet edge swimming pool while you cook up a feast on the state of the art gas barbecue. Take in the spectacular views of the Coral Sea, or stroll along the beach and watch the sunset over the ocean.
The great Balinese inspired interior adds to your holiday feel. The chef's kitchen is fully outfitted with all of the modern conveniences.
Fully Air-conditioned bedrooms ensure a comfortable night of rest and relaxation. The large living areas open to large bifold doors which open up to the beach and the ocean with many ceiling fans dispursing the ocean breeze coming in.

Bedroom 1
Very spacious elevated private master bedroom with comfortable king bed and own bathroom with shower and bath tub overlooking the ocean. Picture window with chair allows you to sit and relax with a good book before retiring for the night. Airconditioned plus ceiling fans.
Bedroom 2
Set down the hallway from the main living area. Good sized room with comfortable queen sized bed. Large Glass sliding doors opens up to stunning ocean and beach views. Build in cupboards. Airconditioned plus ceiling fans. There is a large bathroom down the same hallway with shower and toilet. This bathroom is shared by bedroom 2 and 3.
Bedroom 3
Also set down the hallway from the main living area and equal good size to bedroom 2, this room features 2 x comfortable single beds. Inbuild cupboards. Large glass doors leading out to beach and ocean.
Bedroom 4
This spacious bedroom is within the pool area and only 2-3 steps to the bifold doors leading to the main living areas. It is fully airconditioned and features a comfortable quality queen bed and has it's own bathroom with shower. The room is within the pool fenced deck area thus it is not suitable for children or adults who cannot swim.

We can also prepare 2 quality king sized ensemble mattresses for you.
There is a complimentary cot for your use if required.
Laze Around On The Beach
Walk out of the living room straight onto the beach and take a refreshing dip in the sparkling ocean.
Reef
Oak Beach a few mins south of Port Douglas has its own coral reefs just offshore and the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef is only a short distance out on the horizon. Boat trips daily to the Reef from Port Douglas or Cairns for scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing.
Rain Forest
Take a tour and experience one of the greatest wilderness areas on earth and visit magnificent Cape Tribulation.
Dining
There is an upmarket restaurant, cafe and bar only 10 minutes walk down the beach or take a short ocenic ocean drive to Port Douglas and experience the restaurants and cafes there.
Alternatively, stay at this great house and prepare your own meals in the well equipped kitchen or have a BBQ next to the swimming pool.
Nightlife
There's nothing better than watching the moon rise over the Coral Sea with a good glass of champagne and a friend, on your very own beach at your front door. Or if you're looking for more excitement Port Douglas and Cairns have several good bars, clubs and entertainment venues which are only a short cab ride away.
Fishing
Some great fishing has been done in the area. Ask our local manager how to find the best spots for fishing.
Other Activities
Great shopping - markets and world class shopping at Port Douglas, Cairns and Kuranda. Excellent environment for photography, horse riding and 4 wheel drive trips. Reef, rainforest and Tableland tours. Or a great option is to stay put at The Boathouse with some good friends.
Regardless of what you choose to do, the Oak Beach Boathouse is perfectly placed to explore all the region has to offer.
