"Papillon was a wonderful surprise. The quality of the accommodation is five star. The hosts, Vicky and Paul, welcome you like family. I write software for a living and they were great in assuring I had wireless internet, even to the point of buying a wireless router for the unit I was in (using their own funds) and several times spending up to an hour of their life on hold with Optus to fix problems. How often do you see that kind of caring and service these days? Point Arkwright is a rugged coastal area walking distance south of Coolum. It is spectacular. Paillon is a very short walking distance to a 4 km combination of coastal bush track, running and biking track, boardwalk, and spectacular coast and beaches. This was my third visit to the Coolum area in nine years and Papillon was everything I could have wanted. The privacy was amazing and the natural setting a pleasure for the Soul. This stay in Coolum was so far beyond the prior two, I can't compare them. I understand why Aussies shun the Gold Coast and come to the Sunshine Coast. Those who live in this part of Australia seem to know how fortunate they are. And that happiness shows. Check out Paul and Vicky and spend some time at Papillon. You may have a hard time leaving. We will be back."

The location is ideal for visiting the marvelous coastal locations and will enable visitors to be active or restful as the mood takes them.
