The cottage was wonderful for our small dog who enjoyed exploring the parklike back garden. The house was immaculate and very comfortable...we particularly loved the bathroom.

Despite the mist and rain we had a good weekend at the cottage.

We have just spent a perfect long weekend at Scribbly Gum cottage. We arrived on Friday evening to a beautifully prepared warm, cosy cottage - the fire was lit, the lights were on to welcome us and we felt at home straight away. The cottage is delightful with such attention to detail - we adored the 'Kooka' in the lovely country kitchen and the beautful deep claw foot bath! The property is immaculately clean and well-maintained and we cannot recommend it highly enough - just perfect! Thank you for our stay!

This is a great property, well maintained, all mod cons, the sunny back deck is straight off the kitchen-dining area, TV room has comfy seating, beds are great. The gardens are well maintained and the back yard is huge - great for a game of cricket for a large tribe. The house is large enough for a reasonable gathering and we have now used the house two years in a row at the same time of year. It is a great base for exploring the surrounding areas and is a short stroll from Leura shops. Definitely recommended!

We had a fantastic time. The cottage was very comfortable and it was in a great location. Also, it's rare to find a decent pet-friendly property, but this property is excellent.

We were pleasantly surprised by the bedrooms which were comfortable and spacious.

Our dog loved the large enclosed back yard.

We will definitely be going back to Scribbly Gum!

Scribbly Gum cottage is a great place for relaxing, it is very comfortable and clean. We loved the old Kooka stove and oven and the fire place added to the charm. The cottage is close to the shops and many of the bush walks. We'll be back for sure!

Very cosy, clean and comfortable. Our dog loved the huge back garden!

It was nice to sit on the decking with a cup of coffee and watch the many varieties of birds, including king parrots which would come quite close to the house.

Nice quiet location, yet walking distance to Leura Mall and Everglade Gardens.

We will definitely be staying there again!

We've just returned from a lovely 3 days at Scribbly Gum. The house was immaculate, really confortable and full of character. The garden is enourmous and perfect for pet owners. We felt so lucky to be there. Highly recommended.

I have been a regular visitor to Scribbly Gum Cottage for years. It has such a welcoming atmosphere that you feel at home from the moment you open the door. I love the peace and quiet, the chance to catch up on reading and to just step back from all the demands of everyday life. Whether snuggling up in front of the fire on a cold winter's day or enjoying a glass of wine out on the deck on a summer's evening, Scribbly Gum is perfect for all seasons.

The cottage was more than we could have hoped for – everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The dogs absolutely loved the back garden and we found it hard to call them in, as they just wanted to run and run (we have a small, bricked courtyard at home, so the space and the grass were a welcome change. We walked everywhere (did a big bushwalk on Saturday) and didn’t use the car until we had to come home. The temperature was cold of course, but we had beautiful sunny days, so we didn’t mind at all. The log fire and plentiful heaters kept us toasty warm at the cottage anyway, which was lovely!

We would highly recommend the cottage to anyone (and already have!). Leura is much nicer, quieter and prettier than Katoomba where we have stayed on many occasions before, so we will be back!
