Guest Reviews

  • "We only stayed at the Billabong for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. Our hosts Vicky and Ted went out of their way to make us feel extremely welcome and relaxed. From the cold beer waiting for us on arrival to coming back from dinner later in the evening to find the welcoming glow of candles outside and the aircon cooling down the room inside. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable (loved the bathroom and the prints from S.Africa!)In the morning we were treated to one of their famous Brekkies, myself and my partner have travelled all around the globe and this had to have been the best we have tasted!Everything was beautifully presented and fresh, and courses kept coming!! We will be back, thanks guys! "

  • "We stayed here in November 2006 and absolutely loved the place. We arrived without a booking, late in the day and were greeted so warmly & kindly that we stayed here for 5 nights instead of the 1 night we were going to stay. The location with the accommodation on an island is fabulous and so unique and the changing scenery on the Billabong constantly is fabulous. The hospitality we received from the owners was the best we have experienced, the room was quite lovely with a mixuture of a mexican/balinese feel to it and breakfasts were awesome, different every day and with the freshest of ingredients & so tasty. They grow a lot of their own fruit, so the fruit platter is bursting with different colors and flavours. we loved this place and did not want to leave. We would go back to this same B&B if I came back to Australia. We loved it and would highly recommend it."
