An impressive, huge 2 storey waterfront property on the edge of Smiths Lake, Luxuriously appointed throughout and suitable for up to 10 guests with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Milago boasts a spacious open plan interior with high ceilings and extensive water views from almost every room.

Simply magnificent all year round with under floor heating for those colder days and enormous ceiling fans in the bedrooms with Air-con & lake breezes to keep you cool on warmer days.

At Smiths Lake the place to be is on the water with expansive views and direct lake access to experience this beautiful area. The changing vista over this spectacular lake and its fabulous sunsets must be seen to be believed....A perfect lake for all water sports - use the 2 kayaks and dinghy supplied!

The house has numerous areas for entertainment with a north facing courtyard and the large deck (with spa) looking over the lake. There are plenty of choices for that quiet corner to escape to enjoy one of the many books, CDs and DVDs provided.

MiLago caters for everyone with a large open plan living and dining.... 4 bedrooms (3 with queen beds and 1 with a double & 2 singles), 2 bathrooms upstairs plus toilet downstairs and a games room with a full size billiards table and pro table tennis. Loads of board games....loads to do or do nothing at all but relax!

For your entertainment a state of the art inhome theatre with Surround sound including a 42\" plasma screen and free broadband wireless access.

The waterfront has expansive lawn areas which lead down to the almost flat and private access to the water\'s edge where you will discover a dinghy to enjoy this magnificent lake. Two Kayaks (and life jackets) are also available.

You can choose to explore the many little beaches & coves around the Lake or pull up at popular \"Frothy Coffee\" boat shed where you can enjoy a Latte or light refreshments. Should you choose to bring your own boat, boat ramps are only 500 metres away.

MiLago offers outstanding accommodation A very spacious, modern home positioned beautifully for you to enjoy the views over this lake and fantastic sunsets or floodlit trees from your own large private deck. The waterfront has the deeper water suitable to moor your boat right outside.

Location

Close to world class beaches namely: Blueys, Cellito, Sandbar, Boomerang, Elizabeth, Shelley ( naturist ) and Seal Rocks and there is abundant animal & bird life for all you nature lovers. You just won\'t want to go home.

Smiths Lake is linked by the Pacific Ocean beyond a natural sandbar. Perfect for skiing, kayaking and all water sports. Surfing beaches are only a short drive away at Bluey\'s and Boomerang. Elizabeth beach is sheltered and provides a superb swimming beach.

For those who love fishing will find the lake abundant with variety, allowing recreational fishing in the northern parts of the lake - the southern section is a designated Marine Park to enjoy by boat or kayak. We also provide a crab trap to supplement your lakeside meals.

Most of Smiths Lake is surrounded by National Park - the water is crystal clear and a great swimming or kayaking lake for the kids.

The Area

Locally, the \"Smiths village\" shops can cater for most things with an Upmarket Cafe ( TLC ), the best Butcher shop in NSW, Baker, Hairdresser, General Store and Liquor Store. Don\'t forget to visit the friendly Bowling Club for a meal or the Friday night raffles!

Alternatively you can drive a few kilometres to the Blueys Beach shopping centre hosting Chemist, Surf shop, Convenience Store, Bottle Shop and \"Hueys at Blueys\" - the best gourmet pizza in the district.

Fresh fish, prawns, crabs & oysters are also available at Charlotte Bay - local produce at its best!

20 minutes away in Forster there is a wide variety of supermarkets and specialised stores as well as many restaurants and a movie theatre.

For the sportsman there are 5 golf courses in the immediate vicinity with the 9-Hole \"Sandbar\" course (10 minutes from Milago) definitely worth a visit.

"I and my friends stayed 2 nights in this lovely home. Rooms were huge, even for 10 people. Loved kayaking on the lake (right at the edge of the property) and relaxing in the spa on the deck. Everyone enjoyed watching the different types of birds in the backyard and the telescope and binoculars provided added to this enjoyment. The games room and Cable TV lent lots of entertainment. Fantastic place! Definitely recommend staying here."

The location in the village is excellent and is within walking distance of the shops and Frothy Coffee. The view from the master bedroom is wonderful. A perfect spot to wake up in the morning. "Thank you to Phil & Lorna, we spent our Honeymoon @ miLago for a week, and whilst the weather was truly awful (it rained consisitenly all week), we did manage to get out on the kayaks and go for a walk along the foreshore. Thanks to Austar we were always occupied, and table tennis was a pleasant nostalgic experience. The owners are very easy to deal with, and more then accomodating and understanding. Big House, awesome views, and lots of wildlife to gawp at. Would stay here again, no dramas. Thanks Phil + Lorna!"

"Our family of eight had a wonderful week at Milago in December. The house was perfect, luxurious, well equipped and with plenty of room for all. The games room provided a great space for the young people to relax whilst others enjoyed the quiet comfort of the lounge. Enjoyed fantastic views of the lake, and great fun was had with the boat and fishing gear. Close surf beaches provided an opportunity for body boarding and sunbathing. Glorious kitchen with everything we needed for a fantastic family holiday > thank you."

"Milago is absolutely amazing. 5 mins drive from the beach, fishing and rowing on sunny days :) lots of games, books and entertainment to keep the fun going on rainy days! The house is large and comfortable and the back deck is perfect for outdoor meals overlooking the trees and lake! Highly highly recommend this place! and don't miss the sunsets!"
