  • "It was our first time to Tasmania and the drive was easy. As the Pelican's Rest was not available. We were offered to stay at the lovely house next to Pelican's Rest. We were not disappointed. There was one Queen bed in the downstairs bedroom. The mezzanin floor had another queen bed at one end and the other end a single bed. A big corner spa bath was great for our 4 yr old and everyone else. Kathryn the owner was great to accommodate our 8 month baby old needs. We requested for a stroller and she came through with it. She also provided high chair and porta cot all brand new at the time. The view was fantastic. Sitting out at one of the deck for our meals was really special. Only problem we had was noise was coming from the shower or toilet when being used, as it was next to the bedroom. Unless you are not a light sleeper like our babies. It shouldn't bother. It would have been useful if there were instructions on how to use the oven. "
