This modern holiday house exudes laidback luxury. It fronts a sandy beach canal with its own pontoon. Inside are all the amenities you could want - five luxurious bedrooms, two fully equipped kitchens and three modern bathrooms. There is wireless internet access, plasma TV, DVD player and iPod-compatible stereo. Guests have use of bikes to explore the island.
South Stradbroke Island is a rare find. A sparsely populated slice of heaven incorporating one of Queensland's most pristine beaches, only minutes from the Gold Coast mainland.
Here you will find unique fauna and flora, including remnants of Livistonia Palm forest, and the Golden Wallaby.
If you have your own boat there are kilometres of waterways to explore on the beautiful Broadwater.
On the northern tip is the famed Jumpinpin, a great safe water fishing spot and a great spot to take a picnic and swim in the high tide lagoon.
South Stradbroke also offers some of Queenslands best beach fishing and has some great uncrowded beach breaks, a short bike ride away.
The Beach Club is located 5 minutes walk or 2 minutes by boat from the house. There you will find a huge 3/4 acre resort pool, a bar and a restaurant serving lunch and dinner with a casual friendly atmosphere.
Here you can play tennis, mini golf and volleyball, explore the canals in a kayak, watch the kids swim and play on the waterslide or just sip cocktails around the pool.
