Not only do you have all the mod-cons of home including TV, DVD, outdoor BBQ and entertaining deck, laundry, fully equipped kitchen and lockable garage, but the level yard is just perfect for that back-yard game of cricket or soccer followed by a luxurious soak in the shade-covered, guaranteed-to-please spa!
With Balinese landscaped gardens welcoming you at the front, a huge bunkhouse supplementing the three internal bedrooms out the back, and just three minutes easy, level walk to the beach along a lovely park-like back lane, your holiday doesn't get any more laid-back than this! There is also a beautiful gallery of local pictures painted by the mother of the owners, all pieces are for sale if you want a keepsake to take away with you.
To ensure enjoyment for all guests, no smoking inside and pets must be trained, cleared up after and remain outside. There is plenty of undercover spots to make their home away from home! BYO linen, towels and doggie bed/toys. Note that last 2 reviews were by same group who had an unfortunate stay. Pictures actually show old furniture. In fact the house has newer furniture, fresh paint and is very clean so if anything the pictures under promise. We compensated these guests for a very wet muddy week. It is unfortunate but the furniture including all beds is barely years old and the house has just been spring cleaned thoroughly before Xmas. We can provide references from three other repeat groups of guests that also stayed in Xmas hols this year who have already rebooked for next.

Great place just a short walk from the beach. Nice house, spa is good. Guest house in the back is a good addition and a fun place for the kids to play. Had a great time with the family around the BBQ and the spa despite raining that weekend. Can all be enjoyed rain or shine.

We spent a lovely couple of days with our family as we do every year, kids love it as it is so close to the beach and the yard is safe for the little ones. The owners are always so helpful and try to accomodate us, they even go up especially to put up the Christmas tree and decorations for the children....we love this special time, quiet street and a great beach house...we will be back again this Christmas.

Thank you to the lovely owners of this property. When my grandfather recently passed away, suddenly, they very kindly accommodated a grieving family with below price accommodation and even threw in an extra night for our family. The accommodation suited us all very well and there was plenty of bedding for everyone. This is our second visit and we will certainly be back for another visit.

the photos on the internet were from many years ago and the house inside and outside was nothing like the pictures. The condition and cleanliness of the house was terrible. Our bed was held up in the middle by three bricks, the door handles kept coming off, the carpet and lino was dirty, the curtains and windows were filthy, the bbq was dirty and the garden needed cleaning too. Everyone has a different idea of cleanliness but this wasn't even hygienic. We appalled having paid quite a lot of money for what we thought would be a lovely house.

Pictures on this property are completely deceiving - most likely taking many years ago as the garden looks nothing like it front or back. Everything is over grown and wild.
The house is in terrible condition - extremely dirty and grimy. Not one room looked like the pictures shown on the website. It was uncomfortable to stay here, with beds falling apart, animal urine smells everywhere, filthy carpet in the back cottage, very dirty spa with mold inside of it and full of sand.
The owners are misrepresenting this house on so many levels.
Its extremely over priced for what you get. My family was VERY DISAPPOINTED.
I would NOT recommend this property to anyone.

I live in Sydney and stayed in the house over the weekend. It was very enjoyable, the spa was fantastic, loved the back room and garden. Plenty of rooms, very clean, modern. The owner and neighbours were really friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a nice weekend with friends or family.

We stayed over on the long weekend! the house was great when we arrived, it had everything we needed. The rooms, especially the lodge was spacious and had alot of room. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the spa after spending the day at the beach which is conveniently close by with just a few minutes walk. MacMasters Beach is beautiful place that has pet friendly beaches.

We had a AMAZING stay at The Beach House, Two families together yet didnt feel like we was stepping on each others toes! The kids were happy to play in the back yard an the bunk house and LOVED the SPA on our rainy days.. A large selection of DVDs to choose from an relax once the kids were asleep :) Short stroll to the lake and beach and close to shopping mall for us girls...WE HOPE TO RETURN SOON :D

Our group had a great time over the weekend we stayed at The Beach House! The house is quite big and comfy, fully equipped for our needs, the rooms are accommodating and the spa is so good you won���t believe!
Great choice for a getaway, even my little dog Elliot had a great time running around in the backyard.

A group of us went up before the start of uni to unwind and had a great time.
The ease of access to the beach, as well as the spa right there were great, i don't think we were dry for more than a few hours a day the entire trip.
The house is very well set-up in terms of cutlery etc, so it was very easy for us to just buy the food we needed and didn't have to think about too much at all

Not exactly what we expected. If I had the physical address before I made any payments, I would not have committed to the house. Old, tennanted house of yesteryear. We got throught the week. The first time ever we felt exploited, and we have been renting holiday homes every year since 1985.

The Beach house was a brilliant place to stay. Inside it is very well appointed and comfortable, while outside the spa was oh so good after a hard day of laying at the beach
We here with our pooch and he loved it as much as we did... he adopted the back deck and didnt want to leave! Except for a walk to the dog friendly beach just down the road

we loved the house, the big backyard with grass, the huge spa where all 5 memmbers of our family could easily fit (our boys had a ball!).

Was our groups second visit to this great place. We had 4 couples and spent a week having a fantastic time swimming at the beach, having spas and making short trips to Acova and Terrigal for lunch.
We also hired some canoes and paddled around the avoca lake which was alot of fun and we would recommend.
In summary, another great year away at the Beach House and thanks to the owners for being so involed in making sure the place was perfect for us.

Had an enjoyable stay at McMasters beach. The reasonably unspoilt lagoon and beach were just wonderful. We walked, we sat, we admired, we absorbed, we wondered.... The dogs loved the opportunity to run freely and swim, and to meet other dogs. My elderly mother, with a bit of help, managed to walk to one of the seats near the lagoon and sit peacefully each day.

Our group of friends go away for weekends all the time to different places and this place has been the best yet. There's plenty of space and the spa is great! Backyard gets heaps of sun perfect for sunbaking on the lawn or an afternoon bbq. 5min walk max to the beach. The seperate rumpus room also has a fuseball table in it.

This property is in need of some tender loving care, the great location does not compensate for the poor condition of this beach house. We may have been unlucky on our visit but having to clean up and fix things before you can enjoy your holiday is not my idea of fun. The Beachhouse is an ideal location for a family getaway. McMasters Beach isnearby, as is a gorgeous lagoon. The house has plenty of space for severalfamilies, an open, fenced yard for children and everything you could wanton your holiday, including a second fridge, and boxes and boxes of toys forthe children. There's a spa which is ideal for an evening relax, or forchildren to splash around in. There are birds and wildlife everywhere. Wereally loved our time there, and found the owners to be friendly,communicative and helpful!

Had as good a holiday as you can get with two active toddlers. The spa was fantastic for all and used twice a day! The rockpool was perfect - we were blessed with the weather! And such a short walk in the morning to the lagoon to let the dog have a sniff (not stickly allowed but generally accepted) Perfect house for families particularly if you have teenagers and put them in the bunk room.

The Beach House was great for our mums' weekend away...
Very comfotable and plenty of room for everyone. We all loved the hot tub - great back and leg massage jets!
We enjoyed the walk out the back gate and along the lagoon to the beach - beautiful surroundings!
