Description

Blue Wren Cottage is only ten metres from the forest and has a private gazebo overlooking the Blackwood River. The perfect setting for being at one with nature. There is also a private gas barbecue at the gazebo.
This two bedroom cottage has a bathroom with double spa and river outlook, a kitchen/living area with flat screen LCD TV and a VCR/ DVD, and opens to a private verandah, just perfect for watching kangaroos emerge from the forest around dusk.
The furnishings in the cottage are both attractive and comfortable with outdoor settings on both the front and back balconies. The kitchen is well equipped and all linen in the cottage is provided.
There is an amazing variety of colourful bird ife around the cottage and possums sometimes visit at night.
Blue Wren is a very private cottage in its own secluded setting well away from the other cottages.
All you will hear is the sound of silence, the chirping of birds and the wind in the trees. Tranquility meets seclusion.

Mulberry Cottage With lofty Spa Room.

Mulberry Tree Cottage is a three bedroom cottage with warm, country style furnishings and has a full length verandah both front and back. An outdoor setting at the front provides a relaxing spot to watch the river, read a book or to admire the myriad of birds that visit the cottage.
There is a comfortable, spacious living/dining area with floor to ceiling sliding doors to the verandahs. The lounge has a free to air satellite flat screen LCD TV, DVD and audio microsystem and a bookcase provides a selection of reading material.
A high-off-the ground spa room with a double spa has windows looking down to the river and this is accessed from the front verandah.
The kitchen is fully equipped and all linen in the cottage is provided. There is a gas barbecue on the back verandah.
Th cottage has 3 bedrooms, bathroom and separate laundry. Bedroom one has a queen bed, bedroom two has a double bed and the third bedroom has two single beds.

Garden Cottage - Perfumed and Private

Garden Cottage is a charmingly romantic one bedroom cottage with a queen size bed. The roomy bathroom has a double spa with a separate shower.
The kitchen is well equipped and there is a gas barbecue in the garden. The living area has a flat screen LCD TV, DVD and audio microsystem.
The cottage has wraparound verandah on three sides and overlooks a very private garden full of perfumed plants and herbs with a lemon, lime and orange tree as the centrepiece. The garden is hidden from the outside by an old post and rail fence and spreading branches from a aged tree planted by the pioneers provide a lovely shady spot to sit in the peace and silence of this lovely place and share the crisp, clean air with a variety of colourful birds flitting among the perfumed trees and shrubs.
Garden Cottage is also close to the banks of the Blackwood River and guests can wander along the riverbank or around the property or through the nearby forest.
Canoeing is a also a popular pastime with guests paddling out with their picnic lunch to enjoy a few hours deep in the forest away from the sound of modern day living.
Garden Cottage is set well apart from the other cottages so privacy for guests in this cottage is assured.
