  • "Wow!!! From the moment we walked in the wow factor; the views are amazing the birds who visit cheeky; what a gorgeous relaxing environment; we had 10 days in this lovely cottage; comfy; modern; and fell in love with the deck & its amazing panoramic view of the Ocean & Split Point lighthouse; can't wait to go back. Would highly recommend to City dwellers looking for a break from the hussle & bussle... At Brynmwar... NO STRESS!!!! Thanks Steve & Di for allowing us to share your holiday paradise. Oh! almost forgot; our Puppies Poppy & Ledge had a ball, & loved their beach walks every day. Cheers Rudi & Anne "

  • "Although it was cold when our family of 4 plus large dog visited, we had a great stay. Its within walking distance of just about everything. The house is delightfully homely and has everything you could possible need. The coonara kept the whole house cosy and was perfect viewing while sipping a red or two. Wife, teenage daughters and dog all loved it what more is there to say. Thanks Steve for making it all so easy."

  • "We were so happy with Brynmawr, it is extremely well appointed with plenty of cooking utensils etc. The beds were clean and comfortable and the bathroom is also very clean and modern. The house has a homey feel that just says "relax and enjoy. There was 5 adults and two dogs, I walked our whippet around the local streets and was very excited to see the heath in flower - evoking memories of my childhood days at Lorne. I can't speak highly enough of the house and our dealings with Steve and of course would recommend it to anyone who just needs to "veg out"for a few days."

  • "We recently stayed at Brynmawr for Easter and found the house very homely and comfortable. The views are stunning and such a quick walk down to the beach, it was the perfect location. The house is perfect for dogs as well, with a well fenced area and plenty of area for them to explore and play. Steve couldn't have been more accommodating and such a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend the property and look forward to enjoying some winter getaways there!"

  • "My husband, two daughters, two dogs and I has a lovely stay at BRYNMAWR. The house was perfect holiday home, a real 'home' away from home. We loved the fantastic views. The charming wild parrots that we could hand feed. The great kitchen has everything you needed. The house was warm and snug even in the cooler weather we had during our visit. Our two dogs loved exploring the large yard that was fully fenced. The beaches in fairview are outstanding and we had a great time walking along the surf. My five year old daughter loved it. Overall its a great 'beach' holiday house in a great location. "

  • "I am sure everyone would enjoy this wonderful beach house. The views are sensational and extend about 150 degrees from the lighthouse to the Fairhaven point. There were 6 of us - 4 adults and 2 teenagers and a 6 month old puppy. The presentation of the house is excellent - clean, well equipped, spacious and very comfortable. The puppy had a wonderful time exploring the secure yard and he loved the dog bed on the balcony. Access was very easy with the ramps leading to the verandahs from the front yard. Each evening we enjoyed the great views while eating dinner on the wide balcony. The parrots were a real bonus. This would be a comfortable house in winter as well as summer because there is a wood stove in the lounge as well as extra heaters. We spent every day on the beach, which was very close, as are the shops in Aireyâs Inlet. We are looking forward to returning next year.Penny - January 2009"
