Locality

St. Francis, Carisbrook(pop 1000), a historic town that lays claim to be the first town in Victoria. A pleasant 2-hour drive from Melbourne, only minutes from the famous Maryborough Railway Station and centrally located to historic gold towns, arts & crafts and the vineyards of the Goldfields and Pyrenees regions. 20-minutes drive to historic Maldon, or the same 20-minutes to gold famous Dunolly (the home of "The Welcome Stranger" & "The Hand of Faith" nuggets).

St. Francis is on a one-acre block opposite the recreation reserve and a short stroll to the local hotel or fine dining restaurant. The church has been renovated to retain all of its former character yet provide that touch of luxury and openness. To wake beneath the expansive dark wooded gothic ceiling is a truly unique experience. The ambience of this property is all around.
