Just park the car and walk to whatever you want to see and do.
The property is ideal for a small group getaway with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms it will comfortably sleep up to 14 people. It is a perfect place for reunions, family holidays, business seminars, special interest groups, wedding parties or just friends having a break together.
Surfside Retreat is unique, not too many houses have 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms all under the same roof. Having previously been run as a B&B establishment, you are now being offered not only the main two story 3 bedroom residence but also the use of 3 beautiful guestrooms of executive standard each with their own ensuite, flat screen TV and DVD player, bar fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and super comfy King Koil Beds for a great nights sleep. These rooms are accommodated in a separate guest wing with private access to each room. Throw open the french doors and enjoy the sea breeze before stepping out onto the spacious verandah. When you book "Surfside Retreat" you'll have the whole place to yourselves and the property is well equipped for self catering with a good size kitchen and also a gas BBQ on the front deck. Having meals on the front deck you feel like you are sitting amongst the gum trees overhanging the garden from below. Fresh seafood is available locally or you can catch your own. All weather tennis courts are right next door and the property backs onto a park where local markets are held the 4th Sunday of the month.

"Surfside Retreat" Old Bar Beach is located in the beach side village of Old Bar which is part of the beautiful Manning Valley River and Rainforest Coast, just 30min north of Forster/Tuncurry. Old Bar is 3hours drive North of Sydney and just 8 minutes off the freeway.

You will enjoy a quiet beachside village with everything within a 5 minute walk of the house.
A great place to base yourself when wanting to explore to Manning Valley Region, with 42 kms of uncrowded beaches great for surfing, fishing, swimming and beach walks and also 150kms of navigable waterways with the majestic Manning River.

Nearby

Saltwater Point and Wallabi Point are just a few minutes drive from Old Bar and offer more beautiful beaches and a famous Point break for surfers. There is also a national Park at Saltwater Reserve and a lagoon that is great for kids swimming and canoeing. Also there are many bush walks in the area to choose from.
The fishing village of Manning Point is also nearby with boat hire, restaurants and cafe's.
Take a drive inland to see Ellenborough Falls, which is the 2nd longest single drop waterfall in the southern hemisphere.
