Description

Situated right on the lake, this charming beach cottage has everything on its doorstep. Throw a line in from the front lawn, pull your boat up to the adjoining little beach, dive into the crystal clear lake or simply relax in the hammock and read a book. Surrounded by National Park, this little piece of paradise is home to many friendly bird species, kangaroo's, echidna's and marine life. Enjoy views of the lake from the kitchen, lounge room and all bedrooms. Cook up a storm in the well equipped kitchen or fire up the BBQ on the front lawn while watching the sunset over the lake. This place is truly magical.

Your beach house features:

3 bedrooms: (house sleep maximum 6 people)

  • "Beautiful home, impeccably presented, right on the shores of the Lake. The kids hand fed kanagaroos & King Parrots whilst I helped myself to a few tastey oysters growing on our lake frontage rocks! Tuned out by day two, what bliss! Total peace and serenity. Highly reccomended!"

  • "The Lakehouse is one Conjolas best kept secrets. The owners have captured the spirit of the lake by maintaining the external look of the cottage and delivering an interior that is both practical, contemporary and very attractive. The owners have thought of everything to accomodate a tiresome family to transission into holiday mode. We were welcomed with a fridge full of all the creature comforts like chocolate, tea, milk, gourmet crisps and more. We are a family of five with 3 small children, our days were spent on the lake in our wetsuits, snorkling, jet skiing, surfing, fishing, canoeing,floating and more. The beauty of this position is that you can walk or float to an amazing beach, awesome corner shop that has everything which is five houses away, unreal bush bike riding, secret bushwalks that the locals will give away. Milton is 5 minutes away if you need a shopping fix and a great burger from Pilgrams or if your inspired to cook the butchers have the best quality meat. Lucky last, you can't beat hanging out on the comfy couches reading a book, doing a jigsaw or watching a DVD which are in abundance while a herd of giant kangaroos jump right past your front door. We loved this place and have already booked for next year"

  • "As a family of 5 and Grndma we found the entire situation ideal. Parents had some space at one end of the house. I happily shared the bedroom with the lake view and 6 yr old. Great bathroom set up. Practically furnished, extremly well equiped, and even though it rained three of our four days we enjoyed thespace and the passing parade on the water.Congratulations to the four trusting people who have set it up for us all to enjoy. Please dont put the price up. "

  • "Stunning, stunning home; the perfect place to rewind and relax. Right on the lake, private little beach for sunbaking or mooring a boat. Beautiful wildlife and scenery with every modern con at your fingertips (everything fully renovated!!) Right near the general store for those afternoon icecreams and only a short walk to the beach. We love the Lakehouse so much (honeymooners) that we plan to try and get back and celebrate our annivesary every year. Thank you so much."

  • "Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Plenty of room for six people(it actually is quite a bit bigger then it looks in the photos). The house was beautifully decorated & had everything we needed for our stay. With the water right at our back door & a fantastic library of books,games & DVDS there was never any need or desire to leave other then to top up supplies. The owners were lovely & extremely easy to deal with. I would highly recommend "THE LAKEHOUSE" to both families & couples alike. "
