You will love the early morning stroll to take in the beautiful sunrises and watch the early morning surfers making the most of renowned surf beach with short and longboard riders, kite sailors, sailboarders and fishermen.
If you enjoy cycling, the track is only 150 meters from home. An easy scenic cycle ride of 15 minutes, along the shorelines, will see you in the center of Wollongong Harbour and beach where you can enjoy a brunch at your choice of cafe\'s and eateries. You may feel like taking a quick dip in the rock pools you\'ll see along the way or watch the sky-divers land at North Beach.
You may like to take in a spot of fishing from along the rocks or alternatively you may like to book a day on the Fishing Trawlers leaving from the harbour daily, and bring in your catch to feed the family on the barbie (your family will love it).
We have over 30 kilometers of clean unspoilt coastline with rich rainforests, bushland, waterfalls on a spectacular escarpment. We have a population of approx. 200,000 people making Wollongong a gateway to the South Coast and Illawarra of N.S.W.
We have the amazing new Seacliff bridge, which literally hangs over the ocean and rocky coastline from where you can look up to Bald Hill at Stanwell Tops and see the hanggliders throwing themselves into the sky and coming down onto the beach below.
Corrimal has its own train station which will take you right into the heart of Sydney via our spectacular coastline and Royal National Park in approx. 1 hour to see famous sights such as world renown Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Darling Harbour and Rocks.
