Guest Reviews

  • "The cottage is enchanting. We had a wonderful stay for 3 nights. It was the little touches that made our stay very enjoyable. The bathrobes and birdseed for the birds that entertained us in the morning and evening. It was a spectacular little hideaway that we highly recommend and hope to return to one day. Thanks!!"

  • "We had a fabulous weekend away. Just what we needed. The property is well appointed, comfortable and homely, quiet, inviting, and with a great outlook, and some lovely touches on arrival. The birdlife from the balcony is superb, there's a relaxing afternoon bushwalk almost at the front gate, and the pool and duckpond just down the road. I'd happily go there again - TOMORROW if I could. "

  • "It was a lovely cottage, the owner had thought of everything. We thought it was really nice and cosy. The view was fantastic, and we liked that they left bird seed which was a great delight to my dad who was trying to get as many birds there as possible."

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with some friends from South Africa. Good access to all the walking tracks (got caught in a massive thunderstorm). Loved being in the bush and being able to retreat into the log fire sitting room"

  • "Gorgeous cottage, cosy log fire with plenty of wood, wonderful view. The cottage was spotless and met all expectations. Loved the privacy and it's on a most quaint mountain lane. We absolutely loved it. Your description does not do Agapanthus Cottage justice. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back for sure!"

  • "Just a quick note to tell you how impressed we were with Agapanthus Cottage. Location, views, cleanliness, quality of the pots and pans, etc. The breakfast food was well thought of and very adequate for our family of four. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the bathroom and by the extra touches i.e. soaps, shampoo, bubble bath. Oh and the kids and my husband enjoyed the chocolates! Thanks again for providing us with a very comfortable cottage. "
