Albury, NSW is across the Murray River from sister city, Wodonga, Victoria. Known as the Albury Wodonga region they are located at the junction of the Hume and Kiewa Highways, about 300 km north of Melbourne and 590 km southwest of Sydney. The Commodore Motor Inn is the perfect stopover for those travelling this route, but there is so much to see and do in the area you\'ll want to stay for a while.
For golfers there are several challenging golf courses in the area and fishing enthusiasts will enjoy the Hume Weir Trout Farm and the Harvey\'s Native Fish Farm.
In September visitors can experience the Albury Wodonga Regional Wine and Food Festival. There are many vineyards from Rutherglen to Cowra to sample throughout the year.
