Take a surf at Smiths beach or well known Woolamai beach.
Visit the Koala Conservation Centre which is open every day of the year from 10am to 5pm. A special environmentally and koala friendly enclosure with boardwalks amongst the tree tops will allow you to view a number of koalas that live in that specific area. Because koalas sleep for about 21 hours a day, any time of day is good to ensure your own close up and personal experience with one of these cute yet wild Aussie animals.
Visit Seal Roacks situated not far from the Penguin Parade at the far south-western tip of Phillip Island which homes more than 16,000 fur seals! take a walk around the coast on the boardwalks. Or for a closer look, join a wildlife cruise to Seal Rocks. As your boat drifts within metres of thousands of seals you can witness their natural environment first hand and even meet the seals as they approach the boat for a closer look at you!
And finally when dusk sets take yourself to the famous Penguin Parade and watch as hundreds and sometimes thousands of wild little fairy penguins emerge from the sea and make their way to their sand dune burrows.
