Light, fabulous, penthouse set in a manicured garden for those who enjoy their comforts whilst having a peaceful holiday. Beautifully furnished in a contemporary style with full air conditioning/heating including bedrooms. A marble staircase leads to the huge private roof terrace equipped with table, chairs, sun loungers, settee, gas BBQ and wind sensor electric awning for shade on those hot days. Absolutely perfect for a leisurely breakfast, sunbathing/relaxing during the day or an evening drink watching the sunset. The complex is small, so the large pool area and childrens pool never feels crowded. Plenty of comfortable sun loungers around the pool area. Free, ample parking at the complex. Free wifi.
Travel cot/high chair available to hire.
Beach/pool towels not included.
Final cleaning included. Additional cleaning on request chargeable.

We had 6 lovely days in Tavira and fell in love with the place. Felt such an authentic place, not too busy or touristy and stunning. The apartment was lovely, met our needs perfectly and the proximity to the pool was brilliant. The roof top terrace a real bonus - although needs better lighting at night! We will be back I think, it’s a special place

I loved Gail's property. It is perfectly situated in a quiet residential area. The walk into town is no problem although down & up many steps. The complex is well cared for and the apartment overlooks the expansive pool and grounds. It is a well planned spacious property aapartment

Great Penthouse !

We had a wonderful stay at Gail's Penthouse - the apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. The roof terrace is great with lots of space for sunbathing, eating or just relaxing. Location is very good, only a 10-15 min walk into town and also easy access from the main road if travelling around the area. Communication with the host was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Our 2nd visit

This was our 2nd visit to the apartment. We love this apartment for its location, space, brightness. We come to the area to cycle and it’s a great location for easy access to beautiful roads. Although the weather didn’t allow it this visit, the roof top terrace if great for sitting and for the bbq. Lower rating for check-in is due to delay on being met by the property management. Luckily the property gate was already open so we were able to enter the apartment. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Tavira. Gail is super to work with and very responsive. Thank you Gail for your hospitality.

Great place to stay in Tavira

The apartment is spacious, light and airy and well equipped. The kitchen was excellent. The roof terrace is large and well furnished with a table and chairs and sun loungers. The communal pool is big enough to satisfy most swimmers and was warm enough and empty enough to be readily available. This is perfect for a holiday and it is only 15 minutes walk to the lively and atmospheric centre of Tavira. .

Great location and bright apartment

This apartment is located an easy walk into the old town of Tavira and close to restaurants. We loved the brightness of the apartment and the outdoor spaces. It was an ideal location for getting out of town on our bikes (which was the main reason for our visit). Gail is a wonderful owner/host and very attentive. Any concerns are dealt with in a timely fashion. We would stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality Gail.

Summer week at Tavira

We had a short stay at the house but we absolutely love it! We were already excited from the moment we booked it and it was amazing to see everything matched and even surpassed our expectations! The place was clean, fully equipped, with amazing areas and exclusive roof top. The shared pool was great as well. It was never too crowded and the surrounding area was very quiet. Super close to the centre of Tavira, just a 10min walk. Can’t wait to go back!

The accommodation was perfect, clean, tidy and had everything we could possibly need. The roof top terrace was the icing on the cake. The pool was never busy or over crowed great to relax and let the children play safely. Communication with the host has been easy. A lovely stay in a very nice apartment in a great location.

Apartment met all expectations and had everything we could need. Had a lovely view over the very quiet pool area and then onto Tavira itself. Tavira is a great place with lots of bars and restaurants with spectacular beaches within easy reach on a lovely boat trip on which we saw beautiful Flamingos on the salt flats. Town is easily accessed from the apartment by a short 10/15 minute walk along the river. However this does involve 108 steps which is great going down and manageable coming back. Surrounding coastal area is fabulous (Cacela Velha) and is certainly worth a visit. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely return and recommend to friends.

Great relaxing holiday

Fantastic 4 week stay at Gail's spacious apartment. Communication with Gail from start to finish was excellent and we had a few issues during our stay which were dealt with speedily. The rooftop was amazing with ample room for dining and sunbathing. There were plenty of kitchen utensils/crockery as we dined in quite a bit. There's also plenty of beach equipment which we made use of. The only downside is the location being quite high above sea level with having to climb 120 steps most days (although we were aware of this before we went).
