Description

This unique country five bedroom home has three living areas and three verandahs making it an enjoyable holiday destination for family and friends to gather. Also great for events held in the area with many wedding guests and surf carnival guests enjoying all that the house has to offer.
Many have enjoyed the home and local area the last five years with three seasons of beach and swimming weather and of course the winters with the warm cosy fire. ( Firewood supplied by the owners)
Apart from being in a beautiful part of the world the home has many activities including your very own championship size tennis court, table tennis, board games, basketball etc.
This large house is situated on a secluded acreage surrounded by trees and palms. The back verandah is gauzed and goes into a fenced yard for pets and/or young children and then onto the tennis court.
Plenty of room to take boats and other water sports equipment with Wallis and Smiths lake only a few minutes away. Not to mention the 5 star surf rated local beaches only 3 minutes drive away to either Blueys, Boomerang, Cellito or Elizabeth Beaches. Seal Rocks in the photo is gorgeous every day and is only a 15 minute drive south.
Charlotte House has a very large verandah that joins the lounge and family living areas. The sitting room has a piano and TV. The in-built bar with bar fridge and party lights on the verandah assist in setting the afternoon drinks after a few visits to the beaches, lakes, tennis and table tennis competitions or whatever the day\'s activities.
The home has a large eat-in kitchen( a new oven and microwave) with a verandah leading to a childrens playground with swings slippery dip and a cubby: a back gauzed in verandah that takes you into the fenced area and the championship sized tennis court that doubles as a basketball court, cricket, bike riding and skatingboarding arena. Click on image galleryfor more photos.
Behind the court is a natural dam with camp fire area great for the colder nights - toasting marshmellows or roasting potatoes.
This is a privately owned property so you can deal directly with the owners.
Neighbourhood noise needs to be respected even though the property is on a private acreage.
Comments from visitors include..\"It\'s even better than the photos....We thought it was too good to be true, but it surpassed expectations.....It worked out to be less than $20 a night per adult... unbelievable!!!......The house has everything...WE just love the verandahs.....Great for kids...WE didn\'t want to leave....It wasn\'t long enough....We\'ll definately be back.....The most relaxing, memorable family holiday...Fantastic.. The house is so BIG...It\'s so lovely and warm with the fire...The beaches and lakes are beautiful and the water temperature is just perfect..Thank you Julie and John.\"
The home has a garage, storage room for boards, bikes etc and a carport. Plenty of parking for cars, boats and catamarans.
It is furnished with a relaxing country style and is warm and welcoming.
Suitable for a large extended family, 2-3 families or 3-4 couples, The bedrooms have: 2 double bedrooms- both with ensuite bathrooms, a queen bedroom with TV (DVD player), a large bunk room (4beds), a small single bedroom, a single sofa bed in the sitting room, and a sofa in the family room.
Three bathrooms(one with the laundry), 3 toilets, 4 showers and an in-built bar, piano, table tennis, your own championship size tenniscourt are just some of the inclusions to make your holiday a memorable one. Visit the image gallery for more photos.

Linen and towells can be provided on request as these can be hired locally at an extra cost.

  • "we had four families of three generations who spent a relaxing weekend at this lovely home. The place is very spacious with well equipped facilities/amenities. The kids (teenagers really) had a ball and declared that they would love to revisit the place the moment they arrived at the house. It provides really good privacy and we spent the second night lying on the grounds of the tennis court looking up the magnificient starry sky. It was serene and so relaxing. Also worth mentioning is the lovely seafood you get from the shop close to the house. Next visit to Charlotte House have to be at least a few days to a week long to be fully able to enjoy all there is to offer. "

  • "This house is Wonderful. There are really three different living areas so it suited are group of three families very well. The location is great as it has close access to Elizabeth Beach which is just beautiful and generally quiet and also to Smith Lake. The home is clean and well appointed and there is plenty to do in and around the place. The little kids loved the play area and the older ones loved the tennis court and table tennis. The parents loved the fact that they could sit down and relax in clean comfort in the evenings. The price is very reasonable too!"

  • "Charlotte House is in a magnificent spot, so relaxing. We stayed with 3 families and there was plenty of room for all, even for the children to watch TV or play games, we didn't need to be in each other's way at all. The huge undercover verandah was just the best, we all wandered out for meals and could all sit together, we would definitely go back, everything was there that we needed for a family get together, we will definitely go again. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Ann"

  • "Our group had a lovely relaxing time at Charlotte House. The verandah was fabulous and we dined there most of the week. The kids loved having a cubby house and tennis court to play on. They tried tennis, they rode their bikes and we organised a treasure hunt for them. They were exhausted every night! "

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Charlotte House. It was close to everything but far enough away so we could still relax in privacy ! There were plenty of beds and the entertaining area on the verandah was fantastic. We will def stay here again !"

  • "Excellent property. Fitted two families with 6 children under 8 easily with plenty of room to spare. Kitchen well equipped and house well furnished - a real home away from home. Everything was clean and tidy and it felt like you were miles from anywhere. We had an excellent holiday that kept both children and adults entertained. Highly recommended."
