Description

Rio al Mar (River to Sea) is a 5-acre beach block situated just North of Swansea, on the mouth of the Meredith River overlooking Oyster Bay. If it is space, comfort and privacy that you are looking for then Rio al Mar has it.

Built in 2009, the house is perfect for a couple’s retreat or a family escape. A short walk out of the front gate takes you to the captivating Nine Mile Beach. If you are feeling a little more energetic a 15-20 min walk will see you in the beautiful seaside town of Swansea. The house itself makes the most of the uninterrupted sea views and can accommodate up to 10 people if required.

There are two bedrooms with queen size beds - one of which has sea views and an adjoining room that can be used as a nursery or an office for the person looking for a quiet working space with sea views.

The third bedroom, the rumpus room, sleeps four in built in wooden bunks. The rumpus room has a toy box, pool table, foosball table, oversized beanbags, tv and dvd player to keep everyone entertained.

If you need to accommodate 10 people then a day bed and a pullout trundle is available in the lounge. The lounge room with its sea views, two decks, open plan living, reverse cycle heater and wood fire is the focal point of the house and the perfect place to unwind or relax with a glass of wine - no matter what the weather.

There are two bathrooms in Rio al Mar, one including a bath overlooking Oyster Bay capable of accommodating two adults. The second bathroom is wheelchair accessible and has facilities to accommodate a person with special needs. The house has a ramp to ensure that anyone with disabilities can access the property easily

  • "Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou! We were hoping for a nice relaxing and fun weekend for our two families (and 6 kids) but this quickly exceeded our expectations! The location is fantastic for the beach and a private get away that is also so close to swansea town. The layout of the house was just perfect for our families and the bunks set up/games room was well utilised and a huge bonus when weather was against us for long stints at the beach. This accommodation should pride itself on having those extra few considerations that make your stay all the more special and comfortable. We will definitely be coming again :)"
