Gundari is the Gathang word for the Angophora Tree, which are abundant in the Smiths Lake area. Gathang is the language of the Worimi people, traditional owners of the land on which Gundari is situated.
The Angophora's magnificence is just one of the fabulous attractions of Smiths Lake and surrounds, most spectacularly boasted at Frothy Coffee just before sunset, where you can relax and unwind with friends and family, or enjoy the full range of water activities the lake has to offer.
Other fantastic attractions include - Myall and Wallis Lakes - Seal Rocks Beaches and light house - Cellito beach with its famous sandbar - Blueys, Boomerang, Elizabeth and Shelley Beaches all located at Pacific Palms where you can also enjoy some boutique shopping or lunch at one of the local cafe/ restaurants - Get back to nature with a visit to Booti Booti or Myall Lakes National Park's or Wallingat State forest. All of these just 10 mins drive away.
Gundari holiday house is a delightful 3 bedroom home nestled amongst the palm trees just 50 metres from Smiths Lake shores.
It is a two storey house which enjoys filtered lake and ocean views. It is tastefully furnished to comfortably accommodate 6 people (can sleep 9).
The large entertainment deck including BBQ provides the perfect setting to soak up the ambience.
Set on 1/4 acre it also offers a hot outdoor shower and picturesque gully with seasonal creek and fire pit.
Upstairs includes Bedroom 1 with queen bed, Bedroom 2 with double bed, bathroom,laundry, comfortable living and well equipped kitchen.
Downstairs has a large room with double bunk and double sofa bed and includes 2nd tv/ dvd facilities.
Clean, well behaved pets are welcome at Gundari holiday house.
