We were a group of 7. The house was perfectly presented and positioned for a great long weekend in Hobart. The host was rapid in response and provided all the relevant information. We would all happily stay here again and would just a readily recommend Davey House to anyone travelling to Hobart

As soon as I saw The Studio on the website my heart was taken and I felt drawn to it. Our stay lived up to expectations and more. The location is magical, the private road winding through an entry cut through the rock, with wildlife grazing on the sides and then opening to a private perfect little house with a private beach area and fabulous 270 degree views. The house might look small but the amenities are more than adequate. The kitchen contains nearly all you could need and flows into a comfortable living area with a bookcase full of books and some games to pass the time, as well as a large TV. A table and chairs for two sits in the large picture window near the wood heater. The wood heater fire was especially wonderful and made our stay cost and warm. Nigel was very accommodating and taught us how to make a fire, and he cut and collected wood to set us up. The spacious bedroom area overlooking the living area has a very comfortable bed and space to move, and a reverse cycle heater. But if you get the fire just right it should keep the upstairs just right all night. There’s a door out to a huge deck which would be wonderful in warmer months. I honestly could live there and was so sad to leave. I hope I get to go back one day. Thankyou so much, Nigel and Denise.

My husband and I needed a short break away. The perfect accommodation was perfect for us, and the location at Kingston Beach was brilliant. We l9ved every minute. We got to relax, and also to see the aurora.

best location, with the best balcony in Hobart. Everything you want to do is close. Will 100% book again. Cheers.

Great location, clean and tidy with super comfy beds. Those stairs to the upstairs bedroom are a wee bit steep and narrow.
