Carlton beach rentals

We loved the beachfront property and even in winter went to the beach a few times over our stay. Our grand children when visiting us even enjoyed the selection of toys available. We will definitely be back!

We all LOVED our stay here! The house is really well set up to have a large group staying. The decking over split levels are visually stunning and add flexibility of usage. The bedrooms are generous in size - if it's just a family staying as we were, the lowest level makes for a huge, private space for adults. There are two large living spaces, one with our favourite feature, a tennis table :). The grounds are generous and well maintained, the beach and river only minutes away on foot. Very peaceful and nature really the only sounds to be heard. We wouldn't hesitate to return. Thanks very much to the wonderful hosts

The view was stunning, the house was very well equipped, everything you could possibly need was there. A very enjoyable place to stay.

Our stay was more like an extreme storm-watching spectacle than a weekend away. Fortunately the 270 degree view of the bay from the upstairs living area meant you had front-row seats. Even with hail lashing the windows we were toasty inside, and the dolphins seemed to be enjoying the white caps. I’m sure it would be lovely to sit out on the balcony in calmer, sunnier times but that would have resulted in hypothermia. There are plenty of cosy couches and places to play games and relax. Beautiful guest rooms (one with ensuite) and a separate lounge area downstairs. There was no milk provided but in other ways the house is well stocked. We had a great stay.

Stayed at Mimis house in Primrose Sands. Stunning property with great water access. Views are amazing and the house is exceptionally well equipped. Would stay again!

We had a fabulous stay here, the house is located right on the beach. We spent many hours with the kids on the beach, surfing and making sandcastles. The house itself is great, they have thought of everything making sure there is coffee and basic supplies for cooking as well as everything you need in the kitchen. The beds are all very comfortable and there are so many break out areas to allow peace for all members of the family/ group. Thank you for a fabulous stay, we will be back!

My recent 9-day stay at Stanford in Tasmania was nothing short of marvelous. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The accommodation provided exceeded our expectations and the host, Hazel, truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. The accommodation at Stanford was fantastic. The rooms were not only clean and comfortable but also tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, and it was evident that Hazel takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of quality for her guests. We had everything we needed and more. Speaking of Hazel, she was the perfect host. Her friendly and approachable nature made us feel instantly welcomed. She was attentive to our needs and went out of her way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. No request was too much trouble for her, and her willingness to accommodate our dog made our visit even more special. The fact that our furry friend had a fully secured area to roam and play in was a huge bonus. The location of Stanford was also ideal. Surrounded by open spaces and breathtaking scenery, it provided the perfect setting for relaxation and exploration. We enjoyed long walks in nature, taking in the beauty of the Tasmanian landscape.
