Our stay was truly exceptional. We can't thank the hosts enough. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well cared for. The hosts provided an array of thoughtful amenities that made our experience both comfortable and enjoyable.Each morning, we were treated to a fresh, delicious breakfast, with high-quality ingredients that set the perfect tone for the day. The property itself was a delight to explore its stunning gardens offered a peaceful retreat, with fresh tomatoes and vibrant greenery.One of the standout features of our stay was the breathtaking view overlooking the rolling hills. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, the scenery made the entire experience feel serene and unforgettable.For anyone looking for a tranquil getaway, surrounded by natural beauty and warm hospitality, I wholeheartedly recommend staying here in the hills. Great location. Loved walking into the city along the river and through the Botanic Gardens. Nice hotel with pool and gym.

We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.

Great place to stay, so close to everything. Having a dedicated carparking spot an added bonus. Unfortunately the WiFi was a bit hit and miss, but I'm sure this will be corrected

A lovely clean unit in a very quiet location. Everything you need. We had an extended stay- 5 nights and were very happy.

We had the most satisfying and enjoyable stay with a wonderful exeptional host when nothing was too much trouble. We were honoured to be their guests and would highly recommend.We can't wait to go back!
