What a wonderful location, even in the rain. Loved the view of the pelicans on the lake, with a cuppa in hand. The property was well equipped, including pantry staples. One thing missing, was a mirror in the main bathroom.

Perfect property for two families with teenagers. A quick drive into Goolwa. Very clean and well presented. Kitchen was well equipped. Slow combustion fire made for a cosy stay during winter.

Peaceful and secluded honeymoon getaway!

Rainshadow Retreat was such a lovely little cabin to stay at for our wedding night and start of our honeymoon! The location was incredible, super peaceful and an amazing view with the large windows right in front of the bed. The outdoor patio was perfect to relax on, we had some nice meals while watching birds come and go from the nearby trees.Everything we needed was provided and Paul and Natalie were fantatic hosts, very good at communicating and even offered us a later check out since there were no guests the next night.We are very excited to visit again soon!!

An inspirational house that is well equipped in many aspects to host a home away from home Christmas for a big family. Gorgeous river view from the cabin's balcony.

Tranquil Getaway

This is an amazing little cabin for a quick get away from the hustle and bustle. Has lovely views of the river and the bird life. Has everything you require for all your creature comforts. Beds are comfy, plenty of cooking utensils to make your own meals if you wish and showers are hot. Overall had a fantastic stay. Will definitely be coming back.
