Holiday rentals near Tony Knowles Coastal Trail

Quiet and comfortable with good meal preparation facilities, including a kettle. Heather and I, like many Australians, like to "put the kettle on" to make tea or coffee. Had some good walks, including Potter Marsh Boardwalk. Great communication from Alison

This was just an overnight stay but was clean and the house was set out per the advertisement. 6 adults stayed ( 2x couples and 2x singles) so we did use the fold out. If we stayed any longer we would have wanted the lounge area to be set out to make it darker. But the private rooms were nice and dark. As far as facilities, bins were over full outside so hard to dispose of items but inside was good and had tea, coffee and baisc nacessaties. The spa and outdoor area was quite private dispite being above another lodgeing. ( the host did message day of check in to advise there was rennovations and they were loud for the time but we just left and came back later. It didnt distrupt our sleep or anything). As a side note, the fold out lounges were intesting to use but we are from Australia and maybe they are just different to ours and its common in America to push out from the bittom and then lift up. But the host did not reply to my question but we did figure it out. All in all good overnight experience.

We stayed at this beautiful property for 5 nights unexpectedly during our time in Anchorage. It was a lovely place to hunker down for a few days. It has everything you need, and things you don’t but which are a bonus, such as a fire pit and a private hot tub. You can walk into the ‘city’ in 5-10 minutes, and there is a lovely cafe just up the street. You can also get to the coastal trail within 5 minutes for a beautiful walk, or hire a bike from just down the road and ride it. This property is new to being rented out we believe and we had a few hiccups, but Cait from Vicasa was amazingly responsive and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely rent from Vicasa again. Their customer service is amazing. Be aware that this property is part of a triplex, and you have a neighbor, who’s spa is viewable from your kitchen, and a common entry. We were lucky we had no one around from day 2-5 so it was peaceful. But people arriving on our last night was noisy at a very late hour as there is a common entry. And if there are people staying upstairs it may be noisy. Apart from those, we would stay here again. Perhaps gather some friends and rent the larger upstairs property which is stunning!
