An excellent location and a delightful apartment, Gorete's property offered convenience, quiet (even on a very busy street) and rest after wandering around Madrid.
Check in was smooth and the management unobtrusive but efficient. The entire property presented well and literally, was steps from bars and restaurants (none of which could be heard at night) and a short walk from Plaza Mayor, the Prado and Reina Sofia.
The apartment was spotlessly clean. The shower hot with a strong water flow, always welcome after a hard day of 'touristing'. Gorete was proactive as a host and the staff who looked after us charming and helpful, despite language barriers
