Holiday rentals near Museum of Torture

This property is stylish, spacious, airconditioned, has a full kitchen, pretty views, great water pressure in the downstairs shower, is close to shops and is quiet. Our family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers had room to spread out and relax here.

The property had everything we needed for an extended stay. Its location within the city walls provided an opportunity to find bars and cafes frequented by locals, while the tourist attractions were only a short walk away. Tommaso was a great host and went above and beyond to help us. We highly recommend this property.

Gabriella was a fantastic host and her apartment was as described. The rooftop terrace was incredible and a highlight. It is on the top floor but it’s worth the effort.

We enjoyed this beautiful apartment so much. The location is perfect and even the kids didn’t want to leave.

Wilma’s apartment is everything one could ask for. It was everything we could have asked for and more . In our 10 night stay we felt like it was our home. It’s beautifully furnished , very well supplied with breakfast condiments through to basics . Michele, Wilma’s hubby, very generously picked up from the train station and chauffeured us to the apartment. We then met up with Wilma who went through all we needed to know about the apartment and to top it off we were gifted a bottle of wine and some Italian biscuits . The location is great because it’s close to everything. A lovely piazza to look out onto, a couple of minutes walk from the wall and the main street of Lucca. With double glazed windows, the apartment is very quite and peaceful. All in all, we would definitely recommend Wilma’s apartment. As far as we’re concerned, it’s perfect. Thank you Wilma for making our experience in Lucca that much more memorable.

We so loved many things about this apartment in Lucca. It’s location was perfect, right in the heart of this vibrant little city. A touch noisy in the evenings but this created a warm ambience and things went quiet after midnight. Plenty of space in the apartment which was clean , fresh and ample linen and towels. We had some difficulties with only being able to use one appliance at one time, eg: if you had the kettle on then you couldn’t have the washing machine on at the same time. Also, the removal of garbage was a little confusing. Hot water was limited for the showers but the three of us managed to all make do...... We would definitely consider coming back to this apartment as it was a great base for us ... a home away from home... close to everything and with most of the amenities from m home. Thank you for having us and we hope to return!
