Such a treat to stay in this very central location in Paris with a lovely lounge area to relax in after a long day walking the streets.

This apartment is in a fabulous location close to the Pompidou Centre and in The Marais/Beaubourg district of Paris about a 10 minute stroll to the Paris Hotel de Ville. There is a Metro station (Rambuteau) very close, as well as a food store with all the provisions you could want, a pharmacy and lots of specialty shops for bread, wine, cheeses, patisserie, charcuterie, and lots of restaurants and eateries. This is an exciting and lively part of Paris. The apartment is clean, has all the conveniences you need and is ideal for a couple. It is quite small and compact, but comfortable and the two large opening windows overlooking the street let in lots of natural light and air. It is romantic in a snug, bohemian sort of way. We are a couple in our early 70’s but active and we found this very much to our liking for nine nights. However the apartment is on the fourth floor, which people with mobility issues could find challenging, although there is an elevator once you get yourself and your bags to the first floor (a tiny elevator for 2 people or one person with luggage). One of the best things about this apartment is the owner, Louis, who is extremely helpful. He met us there and showed us how everything worked, then walked us around the local streets showing us where things were and made excellent recommendations for where to buy food, restaurants, where the taxi rank was, etc. - worth the fee he asks for meeting you and showing you around. Seemed like an authentic Haussmann experience in a very central location. Apartment was clean and comfortable for our family of 3 and the host and Natasha the local contact were very responsive. Possibly not suitable for those who have trouble with stairs (or very compact lifts).

A very roomy, delightful and eclectic home in which we felt very comfortable and safe. A great location close to metro and bus and bistros with a friendly convenience store 20m away. Sandrine was very prompt and helpful in our communications. A memorable experience, thank you Sandrine and Michel.

My family had the most wonderful time staying in this beautiful accommodation in Paris. Jean-Michel was an extremely helpful and informative host from the start. The apartment was so central and full of character and charm. Also in a great area that we could walk everywhere to tourist sites. A metro stop right outside was a bonus but it turn we out we didn’t need to use it. The view from the property was stunning. We definitely hope to return here again. The red door of 4 rue des Lombards became a welcome sight after a big day of walking, sightseeing and battling the crowds over the new year period. This is the perfect spot if you want to live in the midst of a very vibrant, busy part of the city. Close to public transport, but due to strikes we tended to walk or Lime scooter most places, which was also easy. Marie is a wonderful host who gave us great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The flat is lovely and the kitchen and washing machine also helped make us feel at home. As this was our first trip to Paris, we only scratched the surface of this great city, so hope to return.
