Hidden Gem in the rain forest

Awesome stay! Loved the sounds of the birds & watching wildlife and the peace & quiet. Well appointed house and very, very comfortable! Very private.On arrival there was a lovely bottle of wine and some Honey Bee honey - a lovely gesture!Wish I could have taken the house with me!We both enjoyed our stay and it made our Christmas all that more relaxing!Many thanks to Melissa & Warren

Slice of paradise

Impressive attention to detail in every corner of this beautiful home. We loved our stay nesled amongst the coffee plantation. The house itself is so large that everyone had their own space and the kids loved the outdoor play equipment. It was great to be able to go for a short walk to Jaques cafe where we enjoyed a delicious brunch. Would love to stay again one day.

Perfect getaway

This farm stay was exactly what I wanted for my daughter who loves horses. She loved being able to feed and pat them whenever she liked, as they roamed around the farm. Beautiful scenery and Amber was fantastic at sharing information about the animals.

Peaceful spot with friendly hosts

This is a lovely Tiny House located just a short drive from Kuranda Village. Very clean and tidy and has everything you need. Hosts Biannka and Kate were friendly and welcoming. Very nice outlook over the trees and plenty of native birdlife around. Really enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the sunshine admiring the surrounds. One tip for anyone not familiar with the area is that there is not much in the way of dinner options in Kuranda, most places close up late afternoon. Burger from the fish and chip shop next to the BP was ok but there's a good pub about 30 mins drive down the road at Mareeba (the Gateway Hotel). Lots of great walks in and around Kuranda - did the walk from the village over to Barron Falls which was absolutely beautiful (nice paved pathway the whole way). The Junrum walk was particularly nice too. Also did the walk along McDonalds track up to Glacier Rock, which had superb views and was well worth the effort (was very undulating and steep in parts, and quite muddy as had been raining) - this can be accessed from Wright's lookout which is a short drive further on from the Barron Falls carpark. All in all a great weekend away and would highly recommend this property for a single or couple just looking to unwind and get away from the busier tourist areas. Thank you Biannka and Kate!

Birdlover’s secluded unit

We loved seeing so many bird species in a grassland /open woodland environment. Wallabies can be found morning and early evening. Enjoyed visiting farm animals. Unit was very comfortable and attractive. It does heat up quickly and air-con was a little under-powered for a big room.
