Looking for a place to stay and have a car, this is a very comfortable and quiet new holiday escape on the edge of nature. It is a couple of km from the beach and shopping/restaurants. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Kitchenette, washer and dryer in the room.

Great location, and excellent walks/hikes in the area

The unit was spacious, comfortable, quiet and looked onto bushland on one side and vacant property the other. Kangaroos grazed every afternoon. The only thing I would suggest is the walls in that particular unit needs a coat of paint and the rangehood needs repair. Overall a lovely spot and nice accomodtion.

You know how you're often disappointed after arriving at a venue that you've booked online? This is NOT one of those venues! What a spectacular location. Shantara Resort was everything we'd hoped for and more. Fantastic facilities, very clean and well cared for. All staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Handy to the centre of town, marina and beach - we had a car but didn't need it at all. Extra bonus of being a child free venue - very peaceful! We had an amazing time and will definitely be back soon!
