Village holiday rentals

Absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous flat. Stylish decor, spotlessly clean, well-appointed, cosy and warm in a quiet location but close to a lovely strip of shops including convenient grocer, butcher, coffee etc. Well located to access Dulwich, Peckham and Camberwell. Alexis was a wonderful host, all communications were clear, helpful and most accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The property was very clean and had a welcoming feel. Everything you needed was available. The host made up a detailed manual, with guidelines for the property and they even included the best places to eat, which we did enjoy. The property was across the road from the bus stop, so very easy to get around.

The flat is in a residential street in East Dulwich with good access to train stations and buses. The area has some lovely restaurants and local pubs. The flat is clean and the owners have thought of everything to make it a home from home. It was great to come home to a very comfortable bed after a day's shopping in London

This is a large apartment which has good facilities and is quite comfortable. There are a couple of awkward doors and a steep staircase just so you don't forget you are staying in London, but it works well. Good cooking facilities, although no way to make your morning coffee except a kettle. The local area looks a bit shabby and rough, but the area is quiet and feels quite safe. It is a short 5 min walk to the train (at Loughborough Junction) but the tube station at Brixton is a bit of a trudge at about 1.5km although you can easily catch a bus most of the way. There are a few smaller shops and some takeaway/restaurants nearby (Try Zest of India for tasty and inexpensive indian) but you will have to go to Brixton for proper supermarket and market shopping, or stop at Elephant and Castle on the way back from central London. Ishmael communicates well and is very responsive. Check in was easy and flexible.

Great central location in Brixton, close to the markets and a short walk to the underground. Apartment has a spacious living area. There were a few things which needed some maintenance but Toby was quick to respond via Stays. The slats on the bed do shuffle around so just need to make sure they are in the right spot for a good night sleep.
