Holiday rentals near Sunderland Empire

When travelling with my elderly mother who has a mobility aid, it is often difficult to find a place as comfortable as this. Everything is on one level (no steps), a walk-in shower with a shower chair, and it was warm and cosy when the weather became cold. There were gifts for us on arrival as well! Biscuits, wine... what a treat!

Had a lovely time staying here for a few days. We had a couple of places we had on our bucket list and this was a good base. Didn’t get a chance to see the arch near by by as it was raining. Only advise would be to have a sign where the holiday homes are as we used the postcode and nav took us to road down the road. Thank you for loaning us your pass for the Beamish Living Museum, had a lovely day even though we got a little wet.

There is nothing negative to say about this property. It’s clean. Comfortable and has everything you need. A real home from home stay. We especially enjoyed the tasty bottle of Prosecco. So thank you. There is a couple of Supermarkets and great pub nearby (less than 5 minutes drive) and an easy drive into Newcastle etc. My only suggestion would be to have a pint of milk in the fridge for a cuppa on arrival!! Otherwise absolutely perfect

A good base to access the Yorkshire Dales which are spectacular.
