When travelling with my elderly mother who has a mobility aid, it is often difficult to find a place as comfortable as this.
Everything is on one level (no steps), a walk-in shower with a shower chair, and it was warm and cosy when the weather became cold.
There were gifts for us on arrival as well! Biscuits, wine... what a treat!

Thank you for your lovely review. We're really pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Sue
A comfortable well equipped cottage in a beautiful farm setting. I have mobility issues so parking outside with a ramp to the door, no steps and stairs, and bedrooms with ensuite facilities was ideal. A no-pets policy and hypoallergenic bedding solved an allergy health issue and the beds were very comfortable. The sitting room has access to the garden and views over fields where sheep were sometimes grazing. The obliging host quickly dealt with a heating problem so we very cosy.

Charming Cottage with Stunning Views – A Perfect Retreat!
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful holiday cottage, and it exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the tranquil surroundings and the breathtaking views that instantly set the tone for a relaxing getaway.
The cottage itself is incredibly comfortable, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The living areas are cosy yet spacious, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The bedrooms are equally comfortable, with plush beds and thoughtful touches that ensure a restful night's sleep.
One of the highlights of our stay was simply taking in the gorgeous views from the cottage. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee on the patio or watching the sunset in the evening, the scenery was nothing short of spectacular. The peaceful setting truly allowed us to disconnect and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
In addition to its charm and comfort, the cottage is very well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences, making it easy to prepare meals, and there’s even a lovely dining area where we enjoyed our home-cooked feasts. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into ensuring that guests have everything they need for a hassle-free stay.
Overall, this cottage provided the perfect backdrop for a truly memorable holiday. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a peaceful r

We loved staying at meadow cottage and didn’t want to leave. It had everything we needed, was comfortable and spacious . The garden and views were wonderful . Sue was very helpful answering questions . We’d love to return
The property is spacious and well maintained. The owner is very responsive and we would not hesitate to return. We were visiting relatives in the area, so the poor weather was a nuisance rather than a disaster.
