Totally pleased with the discriminating taste of the owner of the cottage and highly impressed with the natural surroundings

This place is truly lovely. Our group of 4 just needed a decent place to stay the night before the start of a backpacking trip. But when we got here, we all thought the same thing: "why backpack when we could just stay here instead?" The "cottage" is a two story detached home. It is sparkling clean, very roomy, supremely quiet, and stocked with everything you might need. The best part is the setting. The cottage is on a working horse farm. On our deck, within the first 5 minutes of arriving, we stood mesmerized by a beautiful foal and two adult horses -- and a couple of hummingbirds. This, of course, was after being rather enthusiastically greeted by three of the sweetest, friendliest golden retrievers ever. And one super loving cat. We honestly loved our stay here and hope to return.

We had an amazing stay at the Sunshine House. It is even better in real life than in the pictures. Chad and Amanda were the perfect hosts and thought of every detail from the entertainment (kayaks, wifi, canoe) to the functionality (clean beds, linen etc,) the fully stocked kitchen/laundry and the sweet decor which made you feel at home. Thank you again for inviting us into your slice of paradise. We loved it!
