Brilliant location, friendly host, perfect place to catch up with family who live in the area.

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable in a beautiful and tranquil garden setting. Access to many walks from the property - no need to drive every day. Interesting market towns nearby and some National Trust properties an hour or so away. Youlgreave is in walking distance- 3 pubs serving food and some shops with local produce.

We arrived early and our host, Jane, had just finished cleaning our accommodation so she very kindly let us in early. It was the perfect location for us as we were visiting friends in Nottingham who were only about 45 minutes' drive away. the outlook is rural and lovely. there are several pubs nearby and a Tesco express. Everything we needed was supplied in th kitchen. Jane is a fantastic host, and nothing was a bother for her. We would definitely stay there again and definitely recommend The Old Schoolhouse Loft to any couple visiting the area

We had a fantastic week in the Wee Cottage on the Hill. There are so many wonderful local walks up to the quarry and down to Cromford. The cottage is lovely, it is comfortable, well equipped and has stunning views.

We enjoyed our stay in Victoria Cottage, a compact, yet perfectly formed Grade 2 listed cottage. The bathroom is modern and spacious, the couch and bed both comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to cook real food from the local farmers markets and farm shops! Jenna responded to questions quickly, directions for car parking we’re clear. As stated by other reviewers, the parking could be tricky, however we found that if we drove past and turned at the end of the lane and approached from that direction, it was easy in a Kia Ceed. We used both the upper and lower courtyards, a lovely decision to make!
